I just find it odd that since Jeff is the so called Golden Boy in NASCAR that he has lost 3 in a row and today by Denny Hamlin. You're correct Jr. hasnt won any races this year but you dont hear him WHINING about it. To those who say he blames it on the car, who are you to say it isnt?????

Gordon's ego is the biggest thing he's got. I'm happy for Hamlin winning; it's his first win of 2007!

Hey Dumbass, you do know how many wins Jeff Gordon has right. And by the way, he is still leading the point standing. I don't think anyone out there would complain about getting a second place finish. And by the way, he can not win a race for the rest of his career and still come out as one of the best drivers in nascar history. Dude, I say this every week. People like you are ver ignorant by not liking Gordon. It's just going to ruin your day because he is so successful on the track and he is the favorite to win the championship this year. But this doesn't surprise me to hear things like this. I know it comes from people who know nothing about racing.

Man, I love the animosity here.

I will admit that I am not a 24 fan, but I do respect him, especially since he has matured. In his earlier years, I am sure that Hamlin would not have won that race today, but probably finished 30th due to the crash. Honestly, I give Jeff's 4 championships to Ray E. Without him at the healm, he really has not done anything spectacular. I can remember times when Jeff's car was crap at the beginning of a race, but by the end, he was untouchable. Ray is a wizard at setting up cars. Too bad he is heading the Dodge program now and is not hands on anymore, what a waste.

Hamlin has some growing up to do and learning to do, but he does have talent.

AS far as Jr......I am not a fan but it does not bother me when he wins. Something about him that makes me kinda root for him. I do think that he should have been given control over DEI. I think Teresa's stand was out of greed (my opinion). She is hardly at the track anyway. What's the big deal. So Little E's decision to go to HMS was a good one for him. But now with top of the line equipment, he better produce in 2008.

My opinion only........The most talented driver out there right now is Smoke.........Big Orange.........20........Tony Stewart!!!!!!!!

Go 20!!!!!!!!!

Hey! I want my thumbs down! First of all, let me say I have no problem with #11 winning- he's raced hard this year and got his due. Unlike Jr. fans who have to make up claims of cheating as an excuse, I would have been just fine Little E. winning.
As a #24 fan, let say that 2nd place is not karma biting you in the tookus. not qualifying or 43rd would be more like it.
I'm just glad Harvick and the Busch boys didn't win it.
Flames away, haters!

my god people really do who dont' like Jeff they sure do like to worry about him.?? yea i mean if you dont' like him and like Jr. then why dont' you just let Jeff worry about him not winning lately. But yeah your right Jr. has he won a race lately?? umm...NEGATIVE!! has he won a chamiponship? umm...NOPE!! And is he first in points?? ABSOLUTELY NOT! so even though Jeff isnt' winning he is still dominating the points and field even after getting cut 100 points last week. i don't think Jeff has anything ot worry about! :) So no im dont' think Karma has caught up with him

sorry if in of you think i was being rude i dont' mean to be just these things piss me off but i mean nothing by it i just speak my mind. so its not necessarily to the person who asked the question! if you feel offended please let me know

So, by your theory, that means Junior has lost 44 races in a row, right?

As far as Gordon and Daytona go...hmm, Gordon has won 6 times there compared to Juniors 2. .

So your laughing at him not winning in 3 races, where as your driver hasn't won at all, and may not the whole year? Ok, not sure who's acting the part of the bigger child here? Definately take a 2nd place finish today, and maybe you should here what Hamlin said in pit lane about Jeff could have gotten 10 more points for the chase, but thanked him for not wrecking him.
