Why is nascar so dam boring?

I'll try to answer this as though you are serious.
There are a couple things that I find are boring with NASCAR.
The TV coverage has a lot to do with anything that has to do with what you are watching. If it is bad then that is going to be your opinion. Example: the last 15 minutes of the California road race. I love the road racing tracks but the tv coverage just on the three leaders and no one else.
If you are talking the race at New Hampshire well that is a boring race track. Always has been. It's like a Martinsville track only larger.
I like Martinville because its about the right size for action packed racing.
I have to go to work now bit if you ever want to know why NASCAR is so darn exciting let us know and the list will probably be longer

I think for the casual watcher they easily get the perception that nothing is happening. In Indy Car you have the cornering to make things more exciting. To me Nascar does seem like a bunch of people driving in a circles. Fighting for position and passing each other in an oval just doesn't draw my attention.

OK - So I'm an Idiot. Does that make me such a bad person. I mean I'm just trying to be me and help someone that may need a warped opinion. That's my job. If NASCAR is boring to you, you must not realize the talent, dedication and concetration it takes to drive 180 mph plus, and to be within inches of the other cars most of the race.
Think about it.
Then you have the setups for the cars, continually being adjusted and readjusted throughout the race, along with the pit crews having to be perfect on every stop.
Watch the race and enjoy the afore mentioned items.

evidentally you are watching a whole different nascar than i am because ive never seen Nascar boring. maybe when you only watch it for 15 min. and that 15 minutes nothing interesting has happened maybe thats why you find it boring. but you have to be rooting for someone to...you have to have someone out of the 43 drivers out there that you want to win.

You obviously don't know anything about Nascar or the drivers, nor have you been anywhere near a race track! Being at a race is more exciting than any baseball game I've ever been to. Try it, you might like it! Quit watching golf, cuz that's boring.

Just because a car turns right makes an interesting race? Sorry I tried watching an F1 race turned it off after 5 mins it was so boring. Besides F1 "cars" aren't even really cars more like high powered go-karts. You know what I'm giving this battle of wits up because the Geneva Convention forbids me from firing on unarmed people.

Its not, If you actually go to a nascar race, you'll enjoy it !!! But on tv, its kinda boring because of commercials every 5 mins, and they last just as long as the race broadcast did. Also sometimes the commentators don't have their stories together either.

I ask myself the same thing about baseball and golf. The answer to your question is that nascar isn't for everyone, just as baseball is boring to me, it's exciting to many others. I love nascar, I was traveling yestetday so I couldn't watch it, but I listened to it on the car radio.
