Auto Racing - July 2007

Montoya never even put a full year into the Busch series before moving to Cup. He should be demoted and not allowed in Cup until he can prove he can control his car and not wreck people. Huffman was let go due to bad mid season review, but Montoya's car owner keeps him around when all he does is wreck himself and other drivers?

ok like facial features.. give me your opinion on these
like describe how you like the following things
1. skin color
2. eyes.. a) color and b) shape c) eyelashes
3. nose.. a) shape b) size
4. mouth/lips a) shape b) size
5. chin.. plain or with like alexis biedels with the little line type thing
6. face shape.. ex: square, circle, heart, oval, triangle, inverted triangle, diamond, etc
7. hair.. a) color b) length
8. body type:.. muscular, skinny, average, a little chubby, fat.. a mix/

any other additions, ie legs, freckles, dimples, height, boobs, butt, etc

also what are your thoughts of girls and makeup?

Why is it that F1 cars, CHAMP cars, and IRL cars never seem to fail pre-race or post-race inspections. I assume that there are some guidelines but you never hear of any infractions.
In NASCAR it's a constant issue. Is it beacuse NASCAR thrives on dirty laundry and makes a point to publish all of the infractions?

Kyle Busch seemed upset yesterday after finishing 2nd to McMurray and I don't blame him, but when I read this it seemed that he was more upset with his teammates, especially Jeff Gordon. Tell me what you think after reading this.

After Kevin Harvick's tangle with Juan Pablo Montoya during the 400, the number 29 team had a few select words for JPM. They wrote the phrase..."Keep for 42, go back to F1 so you don't have to race." on a used tire in yellow writing and sat it up on the pit wall for everyone to see. Juan needs to be careful, because he is making a lot of enemies. I know he said he is just here to race, but it is good to have friends. Kyle Petty said one time.." Its okay to have the fans against you, but the last thing you want is your fellow drivers against you." Opinions? Thought I'd share the story...its good for a laugh. ^_^ Thanks..

I've been thinking about this for some time but after reading something that rosbif said it really hit home.
He mentioned that Murray Walker spoke lots of the old days and when Murray dies people will forget the older drivers.
This would be awful really as with the arrival of Lewis Hamilton there seem to be hoards of new fans who don't know how entertaining F1 used to be.
What makes things worse is a lot of snobs don't want F1 cars to be restricted from a technological perspective. "It's supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsport!" they sneer.
Yes, it is, but can it be considered sport if the drivers aren't challenged as drivers and the best car is always the winner?
Surely it makes sense to try and bring the teams closer financially and technologically so as to put on a show of great driving skill.
Let's face it, F1 is pretty boring at the minute and if fans switch off F1 dies.
So, with that in mind, can the constructors be brought into line to save a once great sport?
