My thoughts exactly. There's too much hate in this world as it is, and it would be really nice if people could just accept the way that some racers act in front of the camera after a stressful race where all they need to do is vent some steam or cool off and review what happened, and accept the fact that some racers do better than others.

The ironic thing is that if one pays any attention to who starts stuff it is the people who have a number 24 or Gordon or Jeff to there on line name and then they get upset when others rag on them. I think they have listen to Jeff on his scanner to much.
I try not to get into who is better just the facts about NASCAR it's self. That is what I sort of thought this answer / question subject was about. There are so many new people who now watch this NASCAR that the way they talk it had just started a few years ago and they are already an expert. Until you mention some one like kirk Shelmerdine or Tim flock, fireball Roberts, buck baker. buddy baker. Then they think you are making the names up.
Just one more thing. I am not much of a book reader but there is a book that even if you know everything there is to know about NASCAR you should read
"The American Zoom".
Very well wrote and everything is true. I was told there was a follow up book to it but I haven't read it or even know if it was ever completed. Very fun cool stories about how this all came about back in the moon shine days.

My sentiments exactly. I have my favorites, and there are a handful of drivers I really don't care for, but generally speaking I have a great respect for NASCAR drivers, their talents, and even most of their fans.
It's sad that the hater fans by association give their driver a bad name.
It'd really be cool if we could stick to talking about the sport- and all that goes with- instead of dissing on some driver. A suggestion: let's all post the questions we'd like to see about the cars, the drivers, the events and even the fans- and that can even include some of the fluffier questions about the drivers we see from time to time.
Maybe then- the trolls would go away.

he actions on the track are more important than who whines the loudest to a media Representative.
The forum has taken on a look of who's gay, who's cheating who's a whiner.
That stuff is BULL COOKIES.
When the driver straps in he is in another world, the world we enjoy. On the track he is in a competition that we see but he is in living control of.If he slips up there's a crash. If he drops guard for a second then some one could pass him at the checkers. But do we think about it that way?No.SO-and-so is a whiner.
Our driver lost then the winner cheated(or is gay).
Half the "fans on this forum are interested in the race the rest are instigators and don't give a good BO-diddly-damn about NASCAR.

just to clarify things most of the jr. fans are faithful and supportive, we support him in whatever he chooses to do. he also did say those words to gordon out of respect but gordon taking around that flag was out of pur jealousy nothing more just to shove it in the earnhardt fans faces that's it. yeah you have a good point on all the drama with these drivers, jeff gordon fans just have big heads because he's on a winning streak. i just think maybe alot of fans need to cool it and just watch the race to see who's better, or who's whining, which we all know it's gordon but that's besides the point. the point is quit whining about all the drivers it doesn't do any good.

Friendly "banter" among true Nascar fans is what it's all about on here, but the troll seems to bring out something else. ie: ALL the hate, and all the haters. I say, trolls be gone, trouble be gone!

i kno last time i checked nascar or racing wasn't about who cries the most it was about who was the better driver, crew, and altogether the best raceteam. i mean if crying or whining is something you don't like then maybe you should turn the tv off when someone starts whinning and quit being a cry baby over a racecar driver being a cry baby.i think you should get over it b/c its working for jeff gordon.
