It was a lot better than the coverage that they have had in the past and I would like to see it like last night on a weekly basis. A lot of people complianed about it because they could see the cars running but no comentary. That was the point. At least you could see what's happening and you don't miss that.

When you consider the options.... Cut away every 7-10 minutes for 3 minutes worth of commercials, or No commercials whatsoever but it becomes pay per view... or I have the HORRIBLE inconvenience that everyone seems to complain about of..."I hated having a commercial in the lower right of my screen and I couldn't hear the race."
I thought they were on the right track, this was the best coverage of the year. You missed very little of the race.

Even though the commercials during TNT's live coverage were annoying, I love the way things went last night compared to their usual commercials ever 20 laps. TNT should really consider changing their format to the Wide Open coverage all the time . . .

VERY GOOD IMPROVEMENT from previous races.
Now if only there was a way to block the commercial window.
I listened to most the race on the pc because of all the commercials taking over the racing sound coverage still.
I know you can't please everyone, and more you get the more the want. But we can keep on asking can't we?

Their coverage isn't bad, my biggest gripe is that since it's not on one of the big 4 (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) I forget to tune in - especially the Saturday Night Races (missed it yesterday!!!)
I was doing real well when they were on FOX, missed only one race. Now that they're on TNT I think I've only seen one race.
Guess I'm going to have to turn in my NASCAR fan club card!

Thinking back, I guess your right, they did do something different.... not sure what it was, but it was a very well organized view of the race... they did a good job of play backs too. I wouldn't have really thought about it til' you said something though...(but a couple people have noted that)... it could have been the track size too, the race just seemed easier to follow...

I know, I actually stayed put on the couch for longer than 5 minutes. They did a great job with the Daytona race. One more race to go on TNT, wonder how commercial filled this last race will end up being.
PS - I know who you are.

Kyle Petty, Wally Dalenbach, and Larry Mac are awesome. But the commercials were ridiculous. Instead of seeing commercials every ten minutes, they came at us every five minutes. That part was very disappointing.

What would be GREAT is if YOU were to disappear from this forum all together, and you never ever came back here again. Troll. I know your that rainbow warrior dale jr guy on another one of your accounts. Trying to use 2 accounts to make it to Level 2 huh?
People this is just another account for rainbow warrior dale jr. He'll be on here under that account answering this and the other questions asked, and then turn around and give himself best answer so he can work on getting to Level 2 again.
