Tony Stewart
The Man, The Myth, The Legend
Tony is one of the best drivers in NASCAR period.
Sure he has issues but which one of you out there doesn't.
If you are perfect then you can throw stones but if not you have to agree the man is talented.
All the things he does for children and injured racers.
He doesn't like the lime light on him he just wants to race.
He hates making mistakes just like most of us. He gets angry when a reporter sticks a microphone in his face right after he wrecks and says "How do you feel"? Duh!!!
How would we react if we had a microphone shoved in our face right after an accident going 65 mph. Now multiply that, he is doing the length of a football field in a second or two at 180-200 mph.
I would bet that none of us would be all smiles and happy go lucky. Most of us would excuse ourselves to go change our underwear.
So give the guy a break already. He is great for NASCAR and he makes it fun to watch. When I first started watching NASCAR I was a Harvick fan but after a year I kept watching Tony as he made every race exciting.
Yes, I have met Tony in person have several autographs from him. He is a genuine honest person who tells you like he sees it. So as long as Tony Stewart is driving in NASCAR or any other type of race I will enjoy what he can do with a race car.

Tony Stewart is one of the best race car drivers of all time. He can drive anything, any where and win. He is honest, opinionated, and the only driver that isn't afraid to say what he actually thinks and a lot of people can't handle that. I have heard Dale Jr say a couple times that Tony says what the other drivers are thinking but don't want to say. He is aggressive on the track, but that just shows his passion for racing, he doesn't want to settle for second and I like that. He gets a little carried away in the heat of the moment though and says and does things he probably shouldn't. People who don't understand him label him as the jerk and the bad boy, but that isn't him at all. He is a really nice guy who helps out anyone in need, but some people refuse to see that in him.

Actually, the incident with Denny was all DENNY'S fault. Tony and Denny both said that. I think Tony's a great guy. I've met him a few times since my friend is the fabricator at JGR. Whoever claims Tony's a whiner doesn't know him personally. Frankly, I am sick of people on here bashing people that they don't know. IF you knew these people, you'd realize that they are just normal people who live in a world with a camera stuck in their face.

I love Tony. He is real, not a sponsor-driven robot like most of the other drivers.

i thought Stewart was the biggest whiner until Denny whinelin came along. I wonder which member of his crew got fired after that race. you know that it had to be there fault for him being in position to be wrecked. if they would have been a little faster on one of the pit stops he would have been far ahead of tony. it has to be someone Else's fault. what a whiner.

He is a great racecar driver, but he can change his attitude very quickly when things are not going his way. He is like he child stuck in a 36 year old body. He is disgusting and needs to grow up really soon. So in other words...I don't care for him to much. ^_^

I like him... not at first, but he has a way of turning your head... he makes you notice him one way or another... and now since my driver is gonna retire, Tony will be my main man! (but I did think he was outta line in his comments about Denny at this weekends race)...

The man can drive the hell out of anything with wheels and is a fierce competitor. He also has a temper that he needs to rein in occasionally and his competitiveness sometimes leads to aggressive and reckless behavior, but that drive is what makes him successful when it doesn't backfire on him.
