but she is only in it for Kasey Kahne. She has no passion for the sport at all and now that Kasey has a gf, she hates him and she doesn't pay attention to racing anymore. Does this sound like a true race fan to you? Its total crap! I love this sport, I am going to the NTI and I'm going to attempt to get a job within the industry. That is how passionate I am, and people like her just make me mad! Do they make you mad?

I agree, and women like her give female fans a bad rap. It's funny, my friend and were talking about this same subject. A driver being hot shouldn't be the main reason you're a fan. I hear it all the time ,cause I'm a Jeff Gordon fan, " Why? because he's cute" and it ticks me off. He's an incredibly talented driver, and to be honest, his looks are too clean cut for my personal taste. It doesn't hurt, I'm sure attractive drivers can account for the increase in female fans, but you need to be in it for the sport, not pinups. My friend is a Stewart fan, hates Hendrick, but thinks Jimmie Johnson is one of the hottest on the track ,I say the same about Jamie McMurray but I'm not a 'fan' of his, Rousch sucks. One exception, DEI has a nice balance of talent and hot drivers. ;)

Your right she isn't a true nascar fan! I have been a fan of Jeff Burton's for a long time. When Jeff wasn't doing well, he hadn't had a win in 5 years, everyone kept telling me that I need to find a new driver. I would always tell them no, that Jeff will have a better year next year. Well I've stood by him and now he in the top 5 in points and has won races in both Cup and Busch.
You also are a true nascar fan. I wish you good luck in everything you do, don't give up on your dreams! Don't let others get you mad its their loss. Nascar is a great sport and I am honored to be a True Fan!

Unfortunatly over half the "fans" are fans of certain drivers and not fans of the "sport".
I know some people that will turn the race off if their driver has a problem and is out.
I've followed NASCAR since 1960 and follow a hand full of teams week to week,but if any have problems theres always next week.
Too bad about your friend.

lol no shes not a true race fan if shes only in it for Kasey although i see her point if i wasn't a race fan i would become one just to watch him. lol cause ill admit yepp hes cute! :) lmao but i guess Jeff Gordon is my man still. and yes they make me mad sometimes but im like whatever though just let them do it.

Posers suck, true race fans bleed oil....
-you stop at the gas station for air pressure adjustments when the weather changes.
-your drivers logo is in more than 3 places on your car.
-you pay more in insurance for you die-cast collection than you do on your actual car
-You stand in line for hours on end just to get a driver autograph
You could go on for a while with this. But you get the idea.

It doesnt make me mad, it just tells you who better appreciates the sport more than who is in the sport. Its not that serious to be mad about.
