My wife and I tend to think that FOX/FX does it best. I can't put my finger on it, but I just enjoy watching those races better than NBC/TNT or ESPN. DW is a good man in the booth, for starters. And, in general, the ads really kill the momentum of the broadcast. There are no TV timeouts to accomodate commercials. Some have suggested a split screen (or at least a ticker) that would continue over the commercials.

I think it's a shame that the coverage isn't so great, because NASCAR is a sport that really depends on the broadcast to bring the excitement into the living room.

I agree..Fox does have better broadcasters. I enjoy listening to DW talk because he has true passion for the sport. But I do like listening to Kyle Petty too. I think the guys who are/were involved in the sport are better broadcasters because they bring a passion to the booth that the others don't have. The guys from TNTand ESPN wear way to much hairspray..and you can tell that they are scripted..^_^

I totally agree with you, Fox has the best NASCAR coverage all season. TNT is LOADED with adds and commercials. At least Fox will interrupt a commercial for a wreck or caution. Split screen would be nice on any network. Not sure the ticker would do much good for me. You can get the live leader board for free on NASCAR.com. Would be nice if Fox could get the contract for the full season I think.

I agree with you and mostly everyone else. I think Fox is good and FX but Fox more because of DW and the broadcasters. Because some of the people doing it these days have never driven a race before but DW has and know what its like and what goes on in the cars

I would like to see FOX get the whole season. I like DW and crew. I don't mind the commercials, I think a lot of them are hilarious and I enjoy a good laugh. One other reason I wouild like to see FOX get it is because like one person, I can't just sit and watch the race. I have other things to do so I like to have every TV in the house on the race and I can't do that if it is on TNT or ESPN.

I agree with you and your wife. The commentating is not like Fox, DW is funny and knows his nascar! TNT is all about the commercials. Its crazy. On one commercial break we miss up to 7 laps of racing, thats bad. I wish we can have Nascar on Fox the whole season!

I don't know who does the best job of broadcasting, they all seem to be good. The commercial time doesn't bother me either, I could never sit & watch a 4 or 5 hour race without getting up & moving around any how.

FOX has the best coverage of all, better people and resources by working in conjunction with SPEED. TNT has way too many commercials and Wally,he couldn't drive either.i am very glad that NBC is out of the picture, they were the worst, especially if there were a rain delay.

I like fox and speeds coverage. I did away with cable, couldnt justify spending 100 bucks a month for TV. Now I just watch the races I can tune in with my digital converter box free via my antenia.

I like Fox best but Kyle Petty does a good job. He should join the guys at Fox. I think the split screen idea is great.

Fox is the best. I watched more of the race on my laptop (track pass) than on the T.V. There are way to many commercials.
