Auto Racing - April 2007

This is bull dookey. Smoke said that Nascar was staging the races and that they were fixed because of the cautions for debris . Now Nascar officials are pissed at Smoke and won't let him unload his car at Dega until he meets with an official in the Nascar hauler. WTF???WTF?? I'm PISSED! If they don't let him race, it's so wrong!!! And I'm not even a Smoke fan, but I may turn into one after this BS!

I have no qualms with owner's points, but when slower qualifing drivers get in the race and faster drivers sit out, how is that benefiting our sport. Here's my basic idea--bottom 2 are open for past champions-with 10 provisionals/season; the top 20 in owner's point are eligible to get in to the race in the next 2 positions (or bottom 4 if no champions); everything else is based on speed. Race your way into a Race--now what a concept!
So what do the rest of you think and what's your ideas??
