BCS sucks everyone knows that. Here's a great solution.
6 teams get in. Top 4 conference winning teams get in. Not BCS because that is completely made up, rather the 4 highest rated teams who won their conference. Next 2 highest ranked teams also get in. We can keep the current ranking system or get a new one I don't care.
Top 2 teams get a bye. You use the existing bcs bowls as the first, second and championship round games. Keep the other bowls for non playoff teams.
The only other thing is timing. Don't let any game be played after the Thanksgiving weekend, i.e. that would be conference championships (which would get great tv ratings on thanksgiving). First round of the playoffs is the 2nd week of Dec. Second round is the 3rd week. And the Championship is on or around New Year's day. Other bowls can be whenever is best.
If you can't win your conference or be in the top 2 you don't really deserve National Championship. And it would make more money.

Well, in less you live in a cave with no TV, radio, or internet, I bet you know that earlier today the Chicago Cubs annouced they have re-signed Kerry Wood to a 1 year contract, so the Chicago Cubs and Kerry Wood have agreed to a 1 year contract 4.2 million dollars. Which is no where near, the amount of years no money they re-signed Carlos Zambrano for. And let me state right now, I am not a Kerry Wood fan. I think he is one of thier most overrated pitchers they have ever had, and he has spent which will know, if we can even count it as a 10 year carrier with the Chicago Cubs. And you might even wonder, why the heck to I even care. But what do you think of this move? Do you give it thumbs up, or do you give it thumbs down? And also please tell me why you are giving this move thumbs up or thumbs down. Now asnwer this question well, and you might get 10 extra points, and the best answer. And even some thumbs ups from your fellow users like me. I have to give this move a thumbs down.

you can go to a bar, but with kids and handicapped folks, it's not possible. maybe they thought game would be like Indy/Atlanta, but this is just not fair to the people that don't have DTV. I will keep you posted while we watch the game, though.

I'm looking to purchase a rifle so that I can hunt whitetail with my fiance on his 160-acre farm in Kansas. I'd like to find one with a nice mix of range/accuracy - I already tried out his 7mm-Mag but I'm just not that comfortable with it. If we're out for quite a while (he's got a block permit since he has crops on his land), I usually feel like someone has taken a sledgehammer to my shoulder :)

What do you all suggest?

1. If the ball lands on mud and is not marked as a hazard by the golf course can you move it a club length behind out of the mud? The course has their own rule that says yes but me and my co-worker play at 6am and most of the time the grass is wet so there is a lot of mud spots and he like to take advantage of the mud rule and move his ball around. Also what rule applies if the mud spot is 5 yards in front of his ball? He says he can move it to the side because its in his line. Is that true?

My brother and I are going hunting tomorrow (hopefully). He borrowed a gun off of our dad. Its a winchester model 1400, 12 gauge. The thing is, here in ohio you have to shoot deer with slugs, not regular shot. He does not have the slug barrel neither does my dad (the original owner of the gun). Could he safely shoot a slug (to be exact, the winchester XP3 2 and 3/4" shell)?

So I have narrow down my list of places to go snowboarding in January. I need help deciding which one I want to go to. I'm going with over 10 people. The list is as follow Squa Valley, Sierra,Alpine, Mt. Rose, Homewood, Diamond Peak,
Donner Ski Ranch, Sugarbowl, Boreal, or Soda Spring. Im looking for a nice location where me and my friends will have fun and be able to snowboard for cheap all day.....I need to know where to go soon so I can book a cabin. I will appreciate any comments any of you might have.

Well you know some teams have not won a World Series. It kinda sad. Which team do you want to see win that have never won?
I would love to see the mariners because they have so many good players. I do not think the rays with ever win because of New York and Bosten.

My one BIG thing on my christmas list is a winter jacket.
To be specific 'The North Face W Phoebe Jacket' for $199.00. My parents are NOT impressed with the price and they want me to find something cheaper. I am a sophomore in high school, I don't often ski or anything like that, but I do live in Minnesota where it snows, alot. So basically I'm looking for a stylish warm jacket, and I'm convinced the name brand 'North Face' is the way to go. Any other suggestions???
