Seems like a waste of a draft pick.

Just stupid in the front office I guess ( a concept I have firmly believed ever since they hired Nick Saban). And yeah......stupid use of a draft pick. And of course Wlker didn't do good there. Miami hasn't had a QB the worth of a turd since Marino. Until they get that (instead of spending the 9th pick on Hester-lite) they will simply suck.

I was wondering this myself. It wasn't like he sucked with the Dolphins and Brady makes him. He was learning with the Fins and he was up and coming. The Dolphins have made a few trades that I thought were stupid. The Welker trade. Trading a good DE to Chicago for Marty freakin Booker. And I'm not sure about trading away Chambers now either. He wasn't the problem, the team doesn't have a QB or much else.

Like many of Miami's players, Welker didn't fit into there system. For some years now, they just can't develop talent. They try and hang there head on a strong defense and just a sub-par offense.

They also wanted to get John Beck from BYU and Wes was good in Miami but he didnt have anyone around him like he does now with the PATS (GO PATS!) to assist in his greatness.

Young guys...trying to remodel the team?...I dunno...but what's the point of having such a good receiver if your QB can't even throw the ball there...
