How is it possible The Chicago Cubs and The Philadelphia Phillies played eachother in the World series I thought only a national and American league teams could play eachother in the world series but both teams are National is it because one is central and one is east?

I'm a die hard 49ers fan and have been since the early 80s, but it's just too hard to watch this year.
Alex Smith sucks, the entire OL sucks and their WRs aren't playing well. Too many dropped passes. It's not like they get that many chances, but when they do, they either drop the pass, Smith overthrows it, or they make the play and get it called back because of a penalty. They started 0-2, but have lost 6 in a row now.
Having New Orleans stomp them last week hurt badly enough, but losing to Atlanta this week (who was 1-6 coming into the game), is just sad.

So, like I said, fire Smith, the entire OL and hire some guys who can actually play. Enough is enough.
I hope someone in the 49ers personnel wakes up.

He has been dropping passes all year, including one that could have changed the game today...now he finally got laid out!!!

Don't like to see people get hurt, but other than TO, he has the biggest mouth and doesn't back it up!
