Need some answers on flooding or slow fill of my outdoor ice rink. some say flood it and Waite some say slow .

It is 20x50 and using a tarp. Is 3 to 6 inches OK.

flood it, if you do it in numerous steps you don't have a solid piece of ice, you have layers of ice which makes for chipping and it leads to a very uneven rink surface.
3 6 inches is lots.
