I'm a die hard 49ers fan and have been since the early 80s, but it's just too hard to watch this year.
Alex Smith sucks, the entire OL sucks and their WRs aren't playing well. Too many dropped passes. It's not like they get that many chances, but when they do, they either drop the pass, Smith overthrows it, or they make the play and get it called back because of a penalty. They started 0-2, but have lost 6 in a row now.
Having New Orleans stomp them last week hurt badly enough, but losing to Atlanta this week (who was 1-6 coming into the game), is just sad.

So, like I said, fire Smith, the entire OL and hire some guys who can actually play. Enough is enough.
I hope someone in the 49ers personnel wakes up.

I was just looking at their record over the past few season and this is somewhat staggering. *They haven't had a winning season since 2002 (which was just 10-6).
*Their record from 2003-2007 is a combined 22-50.
*The announcers said today that they are last in the NFL in total offense and 2nd to last in scoring.
*The only bright spot is defense (who is middle of the pack or so) and special teams (Nedney is 10/11 on field goals).

The 49ers did play way above any expectancies that each and every guy or woman had for them this night. I supply them alot of comprehend for even having a huge gamble to win this interest against the Arizona Cardinals given how undesirable their season has been so a procedures and after dropping their head coach and commencing quarterback. i wish that the 49ers will proceed to play with this way of intensity next week and a week after. in the event that they might play with greater intensity and instruct that this interest wasn't a fluke, i've got faith they could be waiting to instruct issues around quickly.

Yea they are sucking now. I think injurys have been hurting them. And with the last season they went to the playoffs was from the wild card when the giants messed up on the field goal when Steve M was coaching.
