There are some similarities but the differences are more pronounced.
Belichick was caught cheating (doing something that most teams probably do) and Barry Bonds is suspected of cheating. What else? Perhaps that each is arguably the best at there job. It's still not enough to make them equals in there respective sport.
Ones a coach, the other a player. Brian has 3 (going on 4) championships, while Barry, not so much. One knows how to manipulate the media, the other just avoids it.
If they are equal, then throw in Lance Armstrong, Marion Jones, most Chinese gold medal winners, Bobby Bowden and many others as well.
