After going 4-0 and outscoring other teams by 180-30 something points and pulling off a upset last season against Rutgers, they can be like Boise State last season, surprising everyone and going unbeaten.

Ok everyone is crying about Bill Belichamp cheating by useing cameras. Do you think he is a bad person for doing? I don't ,you ask why because look at Nascar how often do the drivers get caught cheating? I say its all in the game of sport if you can cheat and get away with good for you but once you get caught you should have to face up and pay what you have coming to you and don't cry about it you knew what you were doing was wrong...
Cheating will always be in every sport deal with it was not the first time and will not be the last time!!!

I mean, I cant say its BAD because I think the competition is great with the mclaren/ferrari thing goin on.

But what i despise about this season is that its really showing that its all the cars performance that makes the driver 'good' or 'bad'.

Just see for yourself, all the way down to like 14th in the championship teamates are back to back. its really unfortunate how it has to be this way, all the car and litttle skill of the driver. I love formula 1 dont get me wrong but i wouldnt even be watching the rest of the season if it wasnt for the mclaren/ferrari rivalry. I have to say I enjoyed Schumachers domination in 2002/2004 more than this season.

and i know the past years have depended on the car too for the most part. but it seemed like there were also WAY more driver skill involved. Especally in the 2003 season which is my fave season to date.

and i ask myself time and time again, would Lewis be leading the championship if he wasnt in a Mclaren? OF COURSE NOT!

If you know the pitcher is going to throw the ball right over the plate not to walk you, what sense does it make to sit there and let a perfect pitch go by? I would think this is the pitch you should be waiting for, if it's not perfect, just let it go, but at least be ready when the meatball comes.

While watching the last NE home game, I noticed an unusual 'picture' on the field. The typical NE Patriot logo was at the center of the filed (50 yard line) and directly above and below it was another symbol/picture.

To me it looked like a cross between a screwdriver and a cresent wrench with magnetic or electric 'bolts' coming out the end .....

Through the entire game I tried to figure out exactly what is was --- no luck! Anyone know ..... ?

The defense is abysmal, as usual, and the once-potent offense now sputters. The running game is laughable, the pass protection is nonexistent. Who can solve this? Who can bring the nastiness back to the defense? Who can bring the power running game back to its heyday? Who can take a mediocre quarterback and smack the opposing D-line in the face enough that said quarterback is palatable (e.g. Neil O'Donnell, Kordell Stewart, Tommy Maddox)? There is a coach, a tough coach, a projectile salivating coach who built a reputation on and won a Superbowl making a team do exactly what Notre Dame cannot - play defense, run the ball, and protect the quarterback. This coach is also unemployed and has had a nice long rest from the spotlight. Were I a decision-maker for Notre Dame athletics, the prospect would be tempting. What do you think?

People were saying the Red Sox would choke. They were saying they were done for. Yet now you see the Blue Jays really were up to something. They broke the Yankees win streak, the Yankees can barely beat them without going into extra innings. Perhaps the Red Sox were doing as good as they usually are, and the Blue Jays were performing well. The losses against the Yankees for the Red Sox were won by the Yankees being little pests after the 8th inning. But do sports analysts want to talk about how good the Blue Jays are doing? No. They want to talk about how bad the Red Sox are doing because it makes for a more interesting story. Anyone agree with me?

I am a HUGE steve slaton fan and want him to go to the NFL and everything. My question is why doesnt West Virginia stack up his stats more for a heisman campaign, they stack up White's. He has enough talent to give him the ball more and i dont see why they dont.
