Many people think that once Maddux, Clemens, Johnson and Glavine retire, that'll be it for 300 game winners. What do you think? Please provide the reasoning behind your opinion. Thanks!

My father is obcessed with the Red Sox (just like many New Englanders). Growing up I've always wanted the Red Sox to win just because it would keep my father & brother happy. Recently I've started watching games with him and asking all sorts of questions about baseball rules, history, logistics, etc. He loves answering them.

I think it would be fun to confuse him by having an intelligent conversation about some aspect of the Red Sox that I would normally have no clue about. Facts, history...whatever you can think of. Anything that you think would work would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Minutes of race broadcast: 130
Minutes of commercials: 62
That is 47.6 percent of the race we are watching something else... All the while some important is happening on the track like cautions and pit stops...

This week its going to be something different... Do you think there is a way we can get together like the "Free the 8" campaign and do something about this! I mean 50% of the race! They are taking advantage of us! They need to go side by side like Indy, or cut out some of them... 50% is unacceptable... I know its all about money, but you have sell outs every weekend, how greedy are they going to get!

What do you think we should do about this, or is there anything we can do?

I read where he only got a little over 23% of the votes for the Hall the first go around. I was a little surprised by that low number.

If it would have been any regular person it wouldnt be a problem? And I cant believe that a man really left the game to "rat" to security and the police, since when can we not wear clothes with bad language on it, if you have a kid, your gonna have to explain the word to them at some point, get it over with. And im sure that that little snitch that dragged his son away from the game, has used the word b4. Basically people need to get a grip and find something else to do, like enjoy the game you probably paid a lot of money for.

I mean, the complete package that made an impression on many of us growing up in Old New York.

The dynasties of the 40's and 50's. Mel Allen saying..."How about that" of Mickey's tape measure homers.

The legends, the myths, the ambience...made for glorious days in what (former) mayor John Lindsay called "fun City".

You won't find me going to any live ballgames again, rather, look for all those wonderful collectibles on ebay.

If you feel the magic was lost, then would you agree that free agency created prima donnas rather than exciting teams.

Being a gymnastics fan, my answer is somewhat jaded by saying Larissa Latynina who won 18 medals out of a maximum 18 from 3 Olympics. I know most people's gymnastic knowledge only goes as far as Olga Korbut or Nadia Comaneci but even they got nowhere near Latynina's record.

Hi. Somewhat of a poll. Just wondering what people think the most important factor in winning an unarmed fight.

To start it off, I say speed is key, and next is weight (with higher better being better), until one compromises the other (so it's best at at an equilibrium). Afterall, force equals mass times acceleration.
