If you mean the regular woolen socks (without the foot part) that (ice) hockey players wear over their leg shields (and somtimes over the upper part of their skates as well), you can buy them in any ice hockey shop, any shop that sells hockey gear has them (unless their sold out, but that's not usually the case). every online shop as well, as far as i can tell. you could check greatskate.com or something like that, or the nhl shop. or just try walking into a shop. you could try links for stores on ice hockey websites. there's something called www.whitebear.co.uk but i'm not completely sure what they sell. they've got jerseys, so they'll have the socks as well i guess. the proper link (if this doesn't work) is on the nhl website (www.nhl.com) try that one.
are you sure you looked properly? coz they really sell those things like everywhere!

in case you employ rented skates, you will get a blister because of the fact the skates are actually not formed on your foot and could not greater healthy exact. In ice skating you will possibly desire to have administration of your ft so in case you pass larger sizes the further area the skate has to rub and create a blister. wearing thick socks is a robust concept, yet they might bunch up and reason much greater discomfort. in case you skate lots i might recommend getting your own pair of skates so as that they might shape on your foot (even although on the 1st few circumstances they'll harm) and additionally you have gotten the skill to skate very relatively. I on occasion get a blister however the day gone by I skated for an hour rapidly and did no longer get a blister. I positioned on tights that cover my ft and the tights do no longer bunch as much as rub, and that i positioned on skinny socks and a band help over the blister. if it somewhat is bugging you and additionally you do no longer will to no longer purchase previous skates(because of the fact new are relatively high priced yet used are lots greater fee-effective) then positioned moleskin(only 1 thing to guard blisters, no longer genuine mole's epidermis) on the band help and use socks interior the tights to help. the final ingredient you want to do is to get a larger length in view that extra area will help create a larger blister. Ice skates greater healthy smaller than huge-unfold footwear, so your foot shouldn't wobble around. it would desire to sense too tight, yet one length down out of your huge-unfold footwear will do. The try is that in case you could walk on the skate commonly or in case you're able to desire to tie it tighter.

Those just sound like plain old hockey socks. Any sports store that carries hockey gear should have them.
