I am a 42 year-old woman who is building up to riding 30 miles a day. I own a mountain bike because that's what I have -- I can't afford a new bike right now. I rode 26 miles today on flat paved roads and feel pretty good. Anyway, what is the best bicycling magazine for me to subscribe to? Thanks.

The Nashville Predators could be one step closer to relocating to Hamilton, Ont.

Jim Balsillie, a billionaire in Waterloo, Ont., who last week signed a letter of intent to buy the Nashville Predators, has reactivated a deal that gives him exclusive rights to negotiate a lease option for housing an NHL team at Hamilton's Copps Coliseum.

Balsillie had a similar agreement with the city last year for a lease option on the 19,000-seat downtown arena, but allowed it to lapse as his bid to purchase the Pittsburgh Penguins fell through.

"(Balsillie) has assured me that he wants to secure a team and he is interested in bringing it to Hamilton," Mayor Fred Eisenberger told the Hamilton Spectator on Wednesday night after city council approved the deal. "Certainly he has the resources to do it and we will leave it up to him to pull it together."

Last week, Balsillie, co-CEO of BlackBerry-maker Research in Motion Ltd., entered into a letter of agreement with Predators owner Craig Leipold to buy the financially struggling NHL franchise for $220 million US.

The sale must be closed by June 30. Approval before that date from the league's board of governors would be required.

Last December, Balsillie withdrew his $175-million US offer to purchase the Penguins after it was rejected by owner Mario Lemieux for a higher offer.

Despite claims by Lemieux that the team was off the market, Balsillie made a last-ditch effort to buy the Penguins, but to no avail.

Speculation had swirled that Balsillie wanted to move the Penguins to Hamilton, which is close to his home and the RIM head office in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

Balsillie had indicated his plans were to keep the team in Pittsburgh.

I already own a couple .22's and a .410 but no pistol. I want something with some more recoil than a .22 but they say i don't need one. I've already saved up the money for at least a glock and a couple mags. I have been around guns for almost all of my life. How to convince?

Whats the most unusual fish you caught while fishing for another species? And what bait were you using?

Mine was trolling in Lake Jocassie for trout 50 feet deep over a 300+foot bottom ,using downriggers, a gold spoon , and trolling about 3 mph , I caught 2 carp one day doing that

If the past never mattered, why would their be a rivalry. There would be no rivalry. Babe Ruth would mean absolutely nothing if it never mattered. Mickey Mantle, Joe Dimaggio, Yogi Berra, Ted Williams, they all would mean nothing in our lives.

Also, I always hear about 2004 from Red Sox fans. They still think they deserve respect 4 that. OK, u broke the curse, now what. Do u expect the other teams 2 just bow down and give u the trophy.

Ummm, sox fans, that was 3 years ago. It's 2007, not 2004.

Enjoy ur success now, cause u know it will be short - lived.

This will mostly just be used for target shooting. The rifle will rarely be used for hunting. I am looking at the baby eagle 9mm and the ruger m77 compact. If I buy the baby eagle (compact model) I will save $100+ and can buy some accessories for it. If I buy the rifle I will need a scope and I do not have enough for it right now.

I know i Am about to get hundreds of furious people but bring it on I want to know whats the hype I'm sure I could be a great QB if I had the Best O- Line Two great receivers and a above average third wideout, With Two tight ends who can block as well as go catch the ball I mean he is surrounded with a great team. He dosent lead this team to victory. Just because its Archie's boy every one wants to hype him up people really thing Peyton is the best when clearly Tom Brady is. Tom Brady dosent have half a team Peyton Does but he has more rings.. Another thing Peyton should not have been the Superbowl MVP Joseph Addai should have or somebody on defense Peyton still played his nervous playoff choke he always did its just that the defense covered his behind this time. That Defense won the superbowl not some quarterback who would probaly play back up Michael Vick if he wasnt archies boy.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately: does a manager really make a difference? Look at the Yankees: Joe Torre is said to be a great manager, but why are they struggling (yeah I know all their pitchers are out, but they have a better offense then the Tigers, but the Tigers made it to the World Series). What are your thoughts on what a manager is? Is it just someone who keeps everything organized in the dugout? Who are some good managers now? Who are bad managers?

I understand, you're upset that your team is losing, but you're going to have to suck it up and take it. I've been a Tigers fan for my entire life, and until the past 2.5 years, my team has been mired in futility, battling with the Royals for fourth in the AL Central. It's just not your season. Sometimes you have to cut your losses, deal with the fact that your team is having their worst season in 12 years, sit back and take whatever the opposition says. "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" is the phrase, and the Yankees were pretty big while they were on top. So, as a fan neutral to the "Yanks-Sawx" feud, could the muckraking, which aren't really questions to begin with, end?
