I felt really bad for Jimmie Johnson yesterday, and I *never* feel bad for Jimmie Johnson. There was Jeff Gordon, his teammate and car co-owner, clanging and banging into him! It went way beyond the typical Martinsville tap. Also, Gordon looked and sounded all pissy post-race, even though coming in second by one tenth of a second to a car you co-own is *not* a bad day. And he threatened Johnson ("It's going to be very interesting") and admitted that he is aggressive ("If it was anyone else, I'd have wrecked him.")

I hope he was called into the yellow trailer, and I hope he's locked out of the Chase.

Discuss. :-)

in 1967 he made history by winning more gold medals than anyone in history. he won a total of 11 medals and yet when they write of the winners in the swimming class they omit the man that set the bar. why?
phelps is a winner, no doubt about that. lets see what he does overall. in the mean time lets not forget those that set the bar and gave the newbe's something to shoot for.

Give me some in your opinion...the greatest sport moments. One of mine was watching my aunt Mary T Meagher break the world records in butterfly and hold them for 20 plus years.

When a Reliver comes in during the later innings, what makes it a save for him? Why is it not just a win for the starting pitcher?

Does 18inch frame sound about right for a woman's bike that has 26inch wheel and no suspension?

The Detroit Tigers are coming off of a world serious appearance and on paper have added talent. Knowing that Kenny Rogers is hurt and going to miss 3 months, how do you think they will do this year. What win total?

With the NCAA season wrapping up in true-to-form fashion, I was looking forward to the Ohio State / Florida basketball championship game as a great cap to a great season...

But then I noticed it is on at 9:21 PM EST on a weekday.

Why do they constantly schedule championship games so late on a weeknight? Do you agree that it makes more sense scheduling it for a Saturday night? Most people have to get up to go to work during the week, and can't stay up that late.

College championship game was the same way. Can someone explain why the power-that-be continue to schedule the biggest games of the year on ridiculous days?

Rahul Dravid should be axed as Captain of india or he should be made to step down.. simply because he sucks as captain .. just like a former coach your best batsmen may not necessarily be the best coach (he meant Greg Chapell) the same can be said of Dravid (your best batsmen may not necessarily be your best captain )
He's cost us key matches.. we should have won tht South Africa test match.. what the hell was he thinking when he was giving Anil Kumble bowling when he was firing in yorkers and losing us the match.. when sachin was there all the time.. and he gave him bowling and it cost us the match.. he screwed us so many matches with the west indies in malaysia.. he didnt know how to use RP singhs bowling. and heres the puzzling part of Dravids captaincy.. when a bowler is getting whacked,... he keeps giving him more overs.. and then he gives yuvraj bowling .. so he can see a six being whacked.. ganguly was a far, far better captain than dravid was..
