Marco, Marco... He should remember who started the matter first. And what consequence that zizou was put through and how easy things were for himself.
Zizou certainly do not have to appologize, given the circumstance of his action (being knocked out and having to do community service) and also based on his respect and glory. People wont stop loving him for his skill. Leaving the matter with dignity certainly is the most mature thing to do. It's the past let it roll away..
He already served his time in a community service. It takes a lot to forgive someone who's taken such an unfair advantage on someone's weakness on such an important match. And to rub insult into injury, Marco planned to make a joke book, and advert out of this.. First he takes it so lightly as if it was funny and then now he's all Zizou needs my forgiveness?? Zizou's a chairman in Adida, he's rich as hell, happy in his family life, much more respected than marco ever will be why does he need Marco to forgive him, his life is perfect even without it?
At least Zizou is mature enough to wash his hands off this one and manage to enjoy his retirement without the cup. He's got a wonderful career, another world cup will be an icing on the cake but it won't be necessary. He's a good in football with the same respect to Maradona and Pele. He's gonna always be remembered. While Marco Materazzi... well even he won the cup, there has been little interest and grace associated with his name. So he really should just leave the matter alone..

You know I have said this before, ZZ has kept a dignified silence on the matter. He is not the one milking the incident for every last bit of publicity he can get. It happened, it was dealt with and it's done with. It seems to me that Materazzi is the one hanging on to it. And let me ask you this, has he apologized to all the players he has hurt, no, because it does not bring him positive publicity and sympathy. Zizou, in hindsight may handle the situation differently if he had it over and maybe not, but Materazzi still handles things the same. Stands over people baiting for an incident. How many headbutts since the WC, a couple, so has he learned to deal with his attitude differently, no. He's a git.

Oh my gosh! What kind of nut does he think the great magician Zizou is?! The real butt-head here is Cheaterazzi! Dude, he must be dreaming if he thinks Zizou is gonna apologize! C'mon, he's the one who's still running his cheesy mouth about the subject--Zidane dropped it already! He deserves a billion more head-butts for that--see if he stops being such a butt-head and keep his trap shut! Zidane should bust Materazzi's mouth!!!

Mat not only scored the winning goal in that game but he had the side line of busting ziz's nuts.ergo "MAT = NUT BUSTER
ZIZ = NUT CASE nuf said.if ziz is able to get his head shrunk to normal size one day & join the rest of civilized humanity he will automatically apologize on his own,but frankly i don't see that happening any time soon,what a pity,its really fking sad.

Zidane had to apolagize to Materazzi simply becasue Zidane gave him an headbutt in the chest!!!!
