JBL singlehandedly woke up the snooze-fest that used to be SMACKDOWN!. Also, he gave me a reason to unmute my TV when watching SMACKDOWN! because I don't have to listen to Cole and Tazz stink up the airwaves anymore.

I really liked how JBL was shown as walking away from the announce table to go talk to Teddy Long yesterday. I think that from now on, JBL should be shown as more involved in backstage politics. Like, he and Teddy Long should start feuding over how SMACKDOWN! is run. Teddy Long's role on SMACKDOWN! has stagnated lately (the only person who seems interested in Teddy Long as of late is Kristal), and I think that this would really inject new like into his character if he had to fight with JBL for control of SMACKDOWN. What do you all think?

(such as the dominance of football, lack of serious upper division club play, lack of widespread youth play, ect.)
