JBL singlehandedly woke up the snooze-fest that used to be SMACKDOWN!. Also, he gave me a reason to unmute my TV when watching SMACKDOWN! because I don't have to listen to Cole and Tazz stink up the airwaves anymore.
I really liked how JBL was shown as walking away from the announce table to go talk to Teddy Long yesterday. I think that from now on, JBL should be shown as more involved in backstage politics. Like, he and Teddy Long should start feuding over how SMACKDOWN! is run. Teddy Long's role on SMACKDOWN! has stagnated lately (the only person who seems interested in Teddy Long as of late is Kristal), and I think that this would really inject new like into his character if he had to fight with JBL for control of SMACKDOWN. What do you all think?

Oh yeah, and don't forget that JBL and Teddy Long already have a backstory: they feuded with each other during JBL's title run. They could always bring up the past in order to really rub each other the wrong way.

An new twist to Smackdown soap opera. Teddy Long needs some type of way to make smackdown get it ratings up.

I agree 100% that would make a great story. Imagen John "Bradshaw Layfield potentely incharge of smackdown

He livened it up when he was up in the APA, he made you watch SMACKDOWN! to see if he got his butt kicked, he formed a good stable, he made a good devil's advocate to Cole since he's just plain boring. JBL is a WRESTLING COMMENTATING GOD!!
