Can anyone recommend a discipline (martial arts or not) that will lead to an increase in mental agility, discipline, something that will make one more aware of the world around them, able to slow down and absorb the world around them, able to control emotions, able to control lines of thinking, able to do things you don't want to do, Basic mental strength, etc. Any and all comments, suggestions, and thoughts are appreciated.
