Would be a much better WR than a RB??? Ive been saying this even before he was drafted and the Saints and Bush have helped prove my point. He is only avg. 3.3 yds per carry in 45 carries this season but as a receiver he has done a solid job on pace for 90 catches and 750 yds...as a RB just 588 yds on 180 carries. He is a real threat offensively b/c he is so versatile, but he is most dangerous as a WR b/c of his speed in the open field. His speed doesnt do much good as a RB b/c he cant break tackles and the defenses here arent the same as in the Pac-10, much much better, stronger, and faster. He will never be a very good #1 RB but he could be an amazing WR. Anyone else realize this??? Or still think he's the next Gale Sayers? (Which is WAY off)

Shouldn't that have gone to the team that had won the most Super Bowls at the time that the name was given? It's not because of the star on the helmet is it?

Many times athletes bet on themselves to win, as in horse racing. Jockey's bet to win on themselves...I don't think there is anything wrong by betting on yourself to win as long as you play to win throughout the game and not intentionally lay back or not give it your all throughout the nine innings.

Other athletes have had problems with alcohol and gambling, but they handled it differently. One or three scenarios are presented here, which one do you subscribe to, if either...

1. Pete Rose deliberately threw games and allowed his team to win by only a margin to satisfy the win but not the coverage or points-runs offered by the odds makers. and/or allowed the other team to win, outright..... Which is wrong and illegal and suggests Rose was beholding to the odds makers and not to the game of baseball for whatever reason.

2. By the Commissioner of baseball taking the action he did, did the commissioner make a statement as to the legitimacy of the career of Pete Rose and condemn Rose to the accusations being 'fact' in the court of public opinion.

3. If Pete Rose handled the matter differently, perhaps by admitting he was a gambler, would the matter of Pete Rose have a different scenario. Was Pete Rose innocent and did Rose simply handle the whole thing wrong?

Which one of the above scenarios is accurate, if either....What is your take on the matter of Pete Rose being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame..?

That on Monday morning's sunrise the hosts had a bit of a chuckle that a few people e-mailed them about the Swans winning the flag
Apparently Fox-Footy showed a replay of the 2005 game Saturday arvo because they could not have it on live because ch10 had the rights and some people watched and thought the Swans had won the flag and then e-mailed Sunrise thinking the Swans were premiers how dissapointing and embarrased would they have felt to learn that they had lost by a point
Check chanel 7 or sunrise if you dont believe me IT IS TRUE

When news about T.O. overshadows other sports. When the commentators feel that they have to talk about T.O. during a baseball game. The man was injured and temporarily out of the game for a few days. And, for some stupid reason. He was the top news story. We should all thank ESPN for making him (T.O.) even bigger then he should be. Maybe they should change their name to ETOSPN. Even the radio sports shows are getting sucked into it. I was listening to one show on friday. Tony Bruno was having a T.O. Free Show. He couldn't shut up about the subject.

I myself will never spell the word "to" the correct way again. I'm going to use "too" whether it's correct or not.
