Their egos are so huge how can stand and play baseball?

I know thier line-up is scary. But they automatically think they will win no matter what.
What would happen if thier "over-confidence" was their archilles heel?

There arrogance is sickening sometimes.Bite me A-Rod and Jeter.I hope to God Georgie that the Tigers are the team to shut em down and shut em up!!!!

The Yankees ********* ALWAYS lets them fall????? Umm except those 26 world championships they have? Oh and to let you know, I am a Houston Astros fan and I HATE the Yankees, but I am not blind to the fact that they are a great team. Their downfall will be their pitching staff, its old and pretty awful. Their offense is amazing and I think it could carry them to the ALCS but prob. not any furthur. They can win a short series with Wang pitching 2 games and either Johnson or Mussina picking up the other win but I dont believe they can win a long series. How bout the Tigers though? They lose the AL Central on the last day, that must suck. I am pulling for the Tigers but I dont see it, the offense is not that good and the pitching staff is young and faltering. They blew a huge lead and all they had to do was beat the Royals 1 time, yet they got swept by the worst team in baseball. Yankees have a great offense that will take care of those young inexperienced pitchers.

In this situation i would not call it *********, I would call this team CONFIDENT in the abilities of each and every man! A great example of a over confident team would have been the Oakland A s of 1990 when the Big Red Machine took them in 4, The start of taking apart a great team..............

No, ego and ********* won't be their downfall. Although Freud might smirk at a question about "*********" for a team whose best pitchers are Wang and Johnson.

I have no idea. Their egos are just so humungous that somehow they ended up with the BEST record in the AL!
Give me a break. It's no egos. It'll come down to pitching and the Tigers' young arms look done given the collapse of their Central Div. lead.
