How hard will the yankees fall?

Now, now, you even admit that you feared the Yankees last week. What brought about the change of heart? Before they played their scrubs and call ups the past few days, the Yankees had their regular squad 1-9, and scored 16 runs in a game twice last week. Sheffield is heating up, Matsui is raking, they look like they haven't missed a beat. When you have a number 9 hitter (Cano) who hit .342 and rarely strikes out, that's a scary line up. The pitching isn't great, but if they can allow 4 runs a game, that should be enough.

Its kinda true in some situations.

The Yankees have a hurt Randy Johnson and the Tiggs must use that injury and turn it into a win. Justin Vurlander is a great rookie pitcher and will do good against Cheng Meng Wang. Heres what i think how the Tiggs will do.

Take the first game with Cheng Meng Wang, then take out the Yanks.

As for the Twins, take out Zito, then take out the A's

Johan is playing twince in the series so im good.

That is true but also the bigger they are, the harder it is to get them to fall.

The Tigers just got beat down by the Royals and now you hope they can take the Yanks. Enjoy your brief wild card stay, gonna be the last postseason Detroit sees in a long time.

Vs. Det? Det look toasted. They slumped so badly in second half and those young guys look done for '06. I would say it'd be a huge surprise if the Tigers win (I hope they do like the Angels shocked the NYY a few years back).
