Favre actually is trying too hard. He certainly has not lost his drive.
His offensive line (guards) are young, Ahman Green is often injured and thus their running game is not a threat.
The moment Favre has lost his drive/desire to win and do everything physically and mentally is the day he will retire.
Without a supporting cast of offensive weapons, opposing defenses will play the pass with a heavy rush and zone coverages.

Favre lost his drive? Absolutely not...his talent and ability...yes. Not completely but he isnt nearly what he used to be. I mean its only common sense he has been in the league for a LONG time it happens with age. Plus it doesnt help that his defense is absolutely terrible and he doesnt have enough weapons on offense. Any team that has to throw 50 times a game is a team thats sure to lose, ask McNabb and the Eagles last year.

The team has made a half-way commitment to rebuilding. Aaron Rodgers is missing his opportunity to mature along with the youngsters in the offensive line and WR Greg Jennings. What were the Packers thinking when they hired the offensive coordinator of the NFL's worst offense to be their head coach? That move reminds me of their hiring of Tom Braatz to be GM back in the 80's. Pure stupidity. I'm afraid it will be many years before we can be proud of the Pack again.

I think its just the opposite. I think Farve is trying to do too much. I saw one of his interceptions tonight, and it was just a bad decision. He was going for the homerun. Bret needs to change his roles. Instead of trying to win the game, he needs to keep from losing it. I would like to see the Packers lose games, where Favre doesn't get picked off, instead of him having multiple interceptions.

Favre hasn't lost his drive. He has lost his offensive line, his running back, his scrambling ability, and some hair.

No. His defense is crap. You're down by 3 TDs in the 3rd quarter, you're going to throw A LOT more. And that means inteceptions.

Maybe if the Packers' defense wasn't so crappy, he wouldn't have to play from behind so freaking much.

Farve has gotten old. He has great numbers when it comes to stats but he'll be gone soon.
