WOW! i was there and i never was so into a game in my life. the comeback at the bottom of the ninth, after it was padres 4, rockies 5!!! 3 run homer!!!! whoppeeeeee! I was so happy, it was really so electric and you could feel the tention and the hope in the crowd. it musta been somthing on tv, but you really had to be there!

Who do you think is the greatest sportman ever. Doesn't matter which sport. The person that has achieved the most and taken the their sport to another level. I'm thinking of Sampras, Schumacher, Jack Nicklaus, Steve Redgrave, Michael Johnson, Michael Jordan. These are just to get things going. I am sure there are more. Both of my boys started tackle football this year (10 and 7 years old) I am sooooooo excited and they seem to be having a blast. With the exception of me putting in their pads (the ones that snap on at the top of the pants) upside down the first time (husband still snickering) we are doing well.

**On a less than happy side note, they practice Tue and Thur (yes will be missing the start of pro ball) and the games are always Sat. nights (so there goes a hunk of college ball) Is it tacky to take a radio to the game?**

I've tried finding a scale drawing of the Stanley Cup everywhere I can think of with no luck. I even emailed the Hockey Hall of Fame in T.O. and got nothin'. Has anybody ever seen a site/book/magazine that would contain such a gem? The basic dimensions are on the HHOF website, but they don't give enough detail to be able to produce a technical drawing. And none of the photographs I have (even my own) are any help. I can estimate using known dimensions with those photos, but I'd really like to find a scale drawing -- especially of the bowl and the scrollwork on it.
