How do you enter a tennis futures tournament?

Can anyone try to qualify or do you have to somehow be ranked? If you do have to be ranked how do you go about doing so if you played no junior tournaments or at the college level?

go to atptennis.com or itftennis.com and they may be able to help you I know for women at least to play in the lower level pros you have to get and ipin # sorry i wish i could help more.
