I have been running for many years now. I started running and continue to do so for myself. I usually do around 5 miles and have gone up to 13. I am 27 and in great shape. I feel that running a marathon will give me a sense of achievement to treasure for the rest of my days. However, I am 6'3 200 lbs. and I'm not going to lie to you, even with great shoes I get very sore in the joints of my legs after running anywhere over 5 miles. Marathons are very, very stressfull on the body and I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons. I don't know what 26+ miles would do to my body, any suggestions wise people of Yahoo!Answers?... (I am fully aware of the training regime involved with a marathon, I'm just looking for experiences and opinions)

Not, to be cocky, but I'm good at swimming. I made varstiy this year (my sophomore year in highschool). I'm one of the slower people on Varsity, but I keep up well. I miss JV alot because I was on JV last year and alot of my friends are on JV. I kinda wanna do JV again, but there is this guy in my Biology class fourth period that likes me. He told me so himself. And I really like him too. The problem is, if I do JV, JV is fourth period so I won't be in Biology with this guy anymore and I don't see him at all except for that class. Varsity is first period by the way. Which should I choose? They guy or JV?

Omar Bravo lost his patience and got mad. He talked bad about La Directiva de Guadalajara and questioned himself if the team didn't want to let him go to Europe (Bravo received various offers from European clubs but Jorge Vergara doesn't want to let him go) As a consequence La Directiva made the decision to leave Omar Bravo out of Chivas. He will not be playing against Pachuca and no one knows when he'll be playing back.
