Smackdown is lacking talent between the people injured and people in the "wellness" program. Someone was discussing they have about 19 active wrestlers at the moment. Combining the brands would be nice. It does run the risk of a lot of the other stars and upcoming people getting shafted though. Smackdown is taped on Tuesday. RAW on Monday, that would tax a lot of people if it were nessicary to be on both shows. Hense combining them would be useless if that were the case.
2 live shows, monday, friday, would solve the burn out/recovery problem.
Other than all that, they need to get more talent plucked from OVW & DSW and all the other places they work with. They could probably raid TNA stars who have contracts expiring. Some site said Ron Killings wants out of his contract as well, so he could be a buy. Questionable where he'd go though.

SD needs some veterans that can fill the arenas. Booker T, Mysterio, and Benoit are all vets but the only one that is big with the crowd is Mysterio. Kennedy and Batista are both on the older side but they joined the bizz rather late. And The Undertaker is a vet that fills the arenas but with the birth of his daughter a couple years ago, he spends most of his time taking care of her. Raw has so many big names like DX, McMahons, Orton, Cena, Edge, and Kane. If the WWE has another draft lotery, they need to get a lot of the big names from RAW to SD.

I agree completly with lexian. Smackdown just isn't what it used to be and the problem is that Vince doesn't seem to care about the quality of the programs anymore. Seems like it's about making as much money as possible and not so much about keeping the fanbase around. That's alright cause TNA is coming and Vince better be on guard.

I think maybe some of the older ones that are more popular, like DX or something.
Better matches, theirs are very boring.
I really dont know what else, the show is just boring to me anymore.
I miss the days when raw and smackdown were still the same company.

they need to bring the cruiserweights nback from the depths of hell, and they need angle, edge, benoit, chavo, and rey (still have him!), the original smackdown! six. except for eddie :(.
