1st Vince Carter - Is super creative with dunks and can think of things that no one has done before. He brought dunks to a whole new level ever since his rookie year.
2nd Andre Iguodala - Is young and sooo athletic.
3rd Jason Richardson - Same as Iguodala but not as athletic as him.
4th Tracy McGrady - Is a very good dunker but not so young anymore.
5th Amare Stoudamire - Is a big man which means that some dunks he does won't look as impressive.
6th Kobe Bryant - Should just love being in the contest because he doesn't have to give the ball to anyone else

1st: Jason Richardson. Back to back champ. One of the most underrated swing-men in the league.

2nd: Kobe Bryant. Just reached his prime. He still has the high-flying ability he was known for when he was younger, you just don't see it as often because he uses the jump shot and other offensive tactics more often.

3rd: Andre Iguodala. Robbed of the dunk contest trophy this year. He might have the best vertical leap of any of these guys.

4th: Vince Carter. He himself has admitted he's not what he used to be in terms of dunking ability. But a downgrade from what he used to be is still VERY good.

5th: Tracy McGrady. He recently had a back surgery that cost him a lot of flexibility, which is a key component in a dunk contest.

6th: Amare Stoudimare. He also had a career hampering surgery, so we don't know how good he really is anymore. And plus, seven footers have a disadvantage in a dunk contest: they have less time from the point at which they jump to the point they reach the rim to do tricks to get good scores.

5. Kobe is an overrated dunker. The year he won, he just recyled JR Rider's under the leg dunk.

6. Amare is a big man and doesn't look as good as the 6'6" guys. The time he won the McDonald's contest, he wasn't too impressive.
