I have a large psychotic stalker. Completely deranged and delusional (persecuted, paranoid, wrath of god type stuff) for whatever reason he has fixated on me. He assualted me recently but I managed to hold my own in the shoving match. Many witnessess, one of whom was also assaulted, called the cops who came and took him away to jail for a few days. Anyway he may already be out or will be shortly and knows where I live.

I need some good self defence strategies - I'm a wiry 6'2 with a good reach, and reasonable strength but I'm no heavyweight.. this guy is a bodybuilder with delusions about having superhuman powers, I CANNOT get into any kind of grappling with this guy.. If it happens, I need to take him out hard and fast.. the law is on my side on this, but obviously can't protect me 24-7.

guns aren't an option, and I don't want to start anything - just need some good advice on how to stay safe and take this guy out if I have to protect myself or my family.

Have i missed something here? I didn't realise the prize was awarded to the team with the players who spent the most time diving in the penalty area, rolling around on the floor holding parts of their legs that weren't touched, and for complaining to the referee everytime the opposition came anyway close to kicking the ball...this team was a disgrace. Look how the France fans booed Ronaldo right from the start of the Semi-Final after what he did against England. The German fans did the same in the 3rd place play-off!

Learning to swim - breathing?

No problems backstroke, etc. Learning to swim with no instruction (personal paid instruction that is) I've done things like games and I'm much more comfortable with water. I still feel a bit of anxiety - meaning it doesn't feel as relaxed as I know it should when I am about to start off taking my first breath before I go under.!

However, when I swim and then tilt my entire body sideways to in turn turn my head sideways to take a breath, I blow out and then breathe in but seem to be taking in water now and then. I also feel like I'm sinking when I blow out - of course I am., but it feels like I'm sinking too much - or actually pulling myself down with my other arm as it's pulling me through the water and my other arm is reaching up and then I'm about to go face back in water.
Any drills or whatnot for practicing of swimming and breathing properly? I went to a few web sites and going to try out some drills, but thinking maybe somebody online might have a genius idea. :)

Italy 2006 - the luckiest winners ever?

Sport is a mixture of skill and luck and this Italian team are simply the luckiest team ever. In the first game against Ghana, Ghana had two clear penalties not given. Against the USA they were very fortunate not to loose against the Americans who were easily the better team for 70 minutes. In the third game against the Czech Republic, the Czechs had a player sent off far too harshly.
They then got probably the easiest group of 16 draw ever as their reward: against Australia they had to dive in the area to get a undeserved penalty - the celebrations of the Italian players showed they knew it was a cheat. AND THEN! the easiest of Quarter Finals ever against Ukraine who were never going to score if they played for months. They took two hours to score against a weak and inexperienced German defence to get to the final. And the final....well...a second clear penalty not given, Viera!... and who knows what they did to Zidane. In the end they beat one team in normal time fairly - Ukraine
