No. It came down to penalty kicks and neither goaly touched the ball. The nets might have well been empty. Luckily, France missed and Italy won. Blame it on Zidane. Had he been in I don't think France would have missed and they might have won.
Zidane, what a wimp! Wanted to be substituted for a little sholder pain.

Without a doubt, key to a good offense is a good defense. Only thing that got past him was a penalty kick. The best goal keeper in the World Cup followed by Germany's Lehmann and Portugal's Ricardo.

He couldn't save any of the penalty kicks, and got lucky that Trezeguet's kick hit the post. He went the complete wrong way on all of the kicks! Never even came close! There are better goalkeepers than him, but he is still good. And I find him attractive now that I look it him, he's quite a good-looking guy. Very "romantic" looking, he's fine.

I don't think he saved Italia. He kept going to the opposite side of the net during the penalty kicks, especially during the one Zidane hit. He jumped on the floor before it even went close to the net. Oh well, they still won.

Yeah that save was crazy. The French goalkeeper couldn't jump that high even with a pogo stick.

not really..i don't think the goalie had too much to do with it..but he did play a part....
so..he didn't "save" italy
