I'm happy Italy won ! I got to drink some homemade wine to celebrate (my neighbors are from Itri).

I feel honored. I'm of Italian-American decent, and for years now I've had to listen to my friends harass me about Italy no longer being a great international soccer threat. Now they're going to be forced to endure 4 years of my bragging rights. I actually thought the final game would be Argentina v. Brazil, but TOO BAD GUYS, it's all Italy! (besides, all the Argentinian greats in soccer can be traced back to Italian ancestry anyways!- LOL, chew on that one Argentina!)

well of course it was not what everyone was expecting including me. Italy played a good game and france just made sum mistakes. italy deservers the hardwork they have shown. Italy might have lost if henry stayed in the game and zidane did not headbutt the italian player

I love Italy; the country, the people, the football, the food, and of course the ladies. But i feel kind of cheated - this was a poor world cup.
But you can't deny their fans their celebration. Good luck to them.

I was so Happy!!! I won some bets and I stuck with them through the whole cup!

honestly, it would have been...what's the word i'm looking for?, deserved if the refs had just let zindane stay in and finish. to be fair, the other player probably aggravated him and said something like "yo momma!" or something

gotta say...good for them, but i'm pretty bummed. i really wanted france to win, for a sort of intangible reason. maybe cuz i wanted a glorious end for zidane's career. yeah. too bad about that, huh?
