I have never in my life found myself in a position that I was not able to solve on my own without God. You ask me why I don't have faith. I don't need it. At all. I see the extent some Christians will go to to try and prove to themselves and to atheists that their God really does exist. Many Protestant churches spend millions of dollars trying to spread anti-science propaganda just to try and create more believers. Just look at how many creationist museums they have built in the last 10 years. Why do you so badly need me, an atheist, to believe what you believe??????

God is just.

On the other hand He's also full of mercy, grace, forgivness, and love. He heals and restores and provides and blesses right?

So the question is which will He lean more toward....the justice or the other stuff?

Are from confirmed atheists who haven't dropped their nuts yet or bought a box of tampons. The older maturer atheists, who has experienced life are more creditable to me, you can take stock in their Q&As, but the teeny boppers are another thing entirely. Yet some people take them as being oh so wise and knowledgeable.

An atheist once told me soldiers are called devil dogs which is another way of saying "devil gods".

What's this world coming to when atheists take over the world?
They read one too many books and watch one to many science fiction / Harry Potter films; then all of a sudden the Bible is just another shrimp on the barbie.

If Jesus said in the bible that he is God then in other verses said he is son of God .. which statement I have to believe in?!!
If I make myself believe that he is God..actually I wouldn't like it because my imagination of my Lord can not be incarnated in a man
If I made myself believe that he is son of God according to the other verses it would be rather strange to me because how come the son of the Lord eat, drink and urinate like me.

Any comment on that ?!!

I met my daughters boyfriend who is very nice over a year ago but I learned recently that he is an atheist. I still welcome in our home but I notice that I am not as warm or inviting as I was before I learned of his beliefs or lack there of. My daugther has sensed that my feelings have changed twords him - truly I am not sure how I should feel twords him now.

If you use the define function on Google for the word "spirit," many of the definitions hint or explicitly revolve around the concept of the supernatural.

Spirit is in many ways different from spirituality; however, I'm not talking about the "we've got spirit yes we do we've got spirit how bout you" kind of spirit. It's more of the sense of an seemingly inexplicable inner working. That seems to be a supernatural form of some kind.

Am I making any sense here, kids?

I am in my 60s now and really want to get my financial house in order. I'm not very wealthy but the total value of my entire estate is about $400,000 to $500,000.

I cannot stand my family. We don't get along very well at all. I do have a few friends.

I'm not sure who to give the inheritance to. Because I don't really like any of them!

Can I do this: Have my body cremated. Have the last will and testament given with my ashes present. Have the executor of my estate read the will which would require for anyone to get my estate, he would have to eat or drink all of my ashes right then on the spot within the next 20 minutes.

Can I do this? What are your thoughts?

I thought they said your body will be resurrected there, your sex will be there, and you'll still be all-man or all-woman. If there can't be any sexual love in Heaven, then why would the guy's balls be on his body, how come he won't be a eunich?


If you can't have sexual intercourse with a male or female you desire in Heaven, then you better get married and have sex how while you still can!!!!

I am supposed to sing the Lord's Prayer at a funeral and I do not have the background music? Any suggestions? I live in Reno and would like to be able to find it here. So far music stores don't have it.
