I am in my 60s now and really want to get my financial house in order. I'm not very wealthy but the total value of my entire estate is about $400,000 to $500,000.

I cannot stand my family. We don't get along very well at all. I do have a few friends.

I'm not sure who to give the inheritance to. Because I don't really like any of them!

Can I do this: Have my body cremated. Have the last will and testament given with my ashes present. Have the executor of my estate read the will which would require for anyone to get my estate, he would have to eat or drink all of my ashes right then on the spot within the next 20 minutes.

Can I do this? What are your thoughts?

Sure you could do that, but why?

Isn't there *anyone* in this world you like? If no, are there any organizations you admire?

If no again, that's some pretty sad sh*t.

you can write anything you want.. the trick is to have it interpredted and exacuted in a way that it is likely to happen.

If this is what you want, I would suggest instructions to the executor to not open the part of the will that states to only invite those who are will be offered to participate, and instruct those people to come alone. ( violators will be eliminated and the date, time and location changed.... eliminate people who would try to stop this from happening.

next be clear on what is being offered..... dont have to say what it is if you dont want to.. but at least " the items listed in theis sealed envlope"

how should a dispute be handled.. can they be devided between several participaants?.... what if they spill you?... what if one choaks and blows you all over the others?.. do the remaining people have to lick it up?... can they have water?... what if they throw up?

just get the rules clear and noone else will get involved, and if they do, it will be after the fact.

This is a question to you should ask an attorney.

You could leave those in your family each a dollar and then give the rest to a charity or your choice or split it and share it with several charities.

You could. But consider you might just be rewarding the person who personally disliked you the most.

I'd find a worthy organization and give to them. Bill and Melinda Gates have a foundation that is doing a lot of good.

Ummmm, why not a charity?

Why not give the monetary estate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or a humane society?

I don't know if you could do that or not, but why would you subject them to that?

Why not just go with your heart as far as your estate is concerned? Is there a charity you could give to?

you can put anything you want into your will...

but putting something requiring illegal acts to inherit would cause the will to be declared invalid, and your family would get a large part, after the government took their cut.

if you really want to cut them out, will everything to a charity or such like.

That's cruel and disgusting. If you don't like them, fine, don't leave them your money. You're probably not their favorite person, either.

See a lawyer and write them intentionally out of your will, otherwise they can say you were in a mentally deranged state (and with this proviso, they would have ample evidence).

why not give the money to a worthwhile charity? Based on what you have written you certainly do not appear to be a nice person and this would be your chance to prove to everyone you are good.
