As posted before, I hit my wife when she questioned me after a night out with some of my colleagues over a week ago. I am a dentist, practice owner ...educated, a professional. I am not some thug out on the street that takes pleasure in abusing his spouse. I feel horrible. I did right away. I don't have much time with my business and patients, and I wanted to resolve this on my own so our 2 children didn't get involved. I am having a very difficult time convincing my wife to trust me. She has moved back home from her sisters finally, but things are so different and she seems so distant. What can I do?

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice...

Atheists: Rene Descartes, did not believe this world was real.
Socrates, Plato's mentor, did not believe this world was real.
Nihilists like me don't think this world is real.

Scientists: The greatest mind of science, Einstein believed everything was related.

If I doubt my existence, illogical or logical, I'm still part of the equation of life. Perhaps I know something you are missing. Help me, help you.

life / reality = 0
-1yesterday -1 today -1 tomorrow = 0 life / reality
Bye, bye babe.
Get ready to dream.
Yesterday gone, today gone, tomorrow gone. Us gone. Future gone. All gone. All for what?

Coo-coo; c00-c00 ;- just like a Coo-coo Clock....same song...tick tock, tick tock...babe...

D0n't lo0k back? It's all deranged.

The true question is, if I could prove to you this world isn't real, would you really want to know???

A woman in my town had to have an emergency C-section. Her husband and her mother were there. Her husband and she were Jehova's Witnesses, and her mother is Catholic. During the C-section she started hemmoraging and she passed out. The doctors told her husband she needed a blood transfusion to save her life. Of course her mother said to give it to her, but it was up to the husband, who stated that JW's dont believe in blood transfusions and she couldn't have one. They tried other things, but told the husband again that she needed the transfusuion or she would die, but he stood by his beliefs. Well she ended up dying on the table, never meeting her baby. Her parents are very very upset over this obviously too. Now this of course has sparked a lot of conversation around town and I was wondering why blood transfusions are prohibited, even in cases like this. I just cant imagine that God wouldn't want a baby to be raised by his/her mom. Any insight and/or thoughts on this would be great.

I bought it used. Should I just use it like it is, or do something to get rid of any energies the last owner may have left in it?

My Christian husband is completely creeped out that I own a used tarot deck ("you don't know where that's been, or what it's done" like a deck of cards can kill somebody)

I noticed when reading Awake Magazine, a Christian magazine by Jehovah's Witnesses, that in no article that I could find in the magazine does it ever say that Jesus is the only way to salvation. I was wondering why this is? Is it because this magazine is directed to people who are already Christians, i.e. that it would be redundant to tell a Christian that according to a Christian faith, the only way to be saved is through Christ being they already are aware of this and believe it?
