Is it OK for a Witness to wear women's clothes? I really like dresses, skirts and panties. Please give me your opinion.

I'm DF'd, but want to get back in, but still don't want to stop wearing women's clothes either.

I would like to know why does catholic church sell the bibles very expensive? well I always wanted a catholic version of the Bible but they are expensive in mexico.. and so I have a Protestant version of the Bible.. well a catholic bible could cost like $10 or 20 dollars and a protestant church could be like $5 or you can get for free in any evangelic church. I am catholic and I am going to catholic church.. I have been just once in a baptiste church but I dont remember too much..

I am a Independent Fundamental Baptist and i have standards as in not wearing pants no bad language and such and alot of people think that being like that you can't have any other friends accept for people like you but that isn't true i have alot of friends who aren't a baptist at all they just over look the things that they don't agree with. I am just a normal teenager who love movies and music and expecially sports. What do you think? Would you be friends with someone like me.

EGYPTIAN ritual in the faith of the Lord of Creation? Some Pharaohs "sacrificed" themselves as the "God on Earth" to go before "God" in hopes of making life better for their peoples.

The one fact in the Judeo-Christian faith which leads to this is the Last Supper. Bread, to represent the "flesh," wine to represent the Blood. A RITUAL to "Osiris" in the Old Kingdom of Egyptian dynasties.

Can anyone tell me if you are wanting your clairaudience to open up is there any kind of exercises you can do? I know that there is someone standing with me at most times and I can often see them too, lately i have been feeling like me ears are on fire, there is a constant heat there and like someone is putting pressure on my throat acutally it feels like someone has stuck there finger in my ear gives kind of a feeling like i need to pop my ears and no i don't have tinnitus, I just want to hear what they are asking or saying. I have been to a few clairvoyants and i know they are only a channel and every person interprets messages differently but i would like o hear it for myself if you know what i mean any suggestions, pls don't comment if you know nothing about this as i get enough ridicule from my other half already.

by Betty Boop oop a Doop, an atheist per her own admission

In reference to the question - Where did the matter come from that created the universe?

"Who says it came into being. It was always present from the beginning of time. Why do you think it came into being?"

For those of you who are serious about this subject, I would rather you read the article on tongues and then give an answer to what you think about the matter (whether you believe in it or not). The article has scriptures and history to back up its information. So before you comment, please read carefully.

I know for sure im not crazy and im pentecostal. almost everyone at my school has the wrong idea about the pentecostal denomination and it's very irritating that most of them are catholic. Trust me I dont have any beef with catholics but they seem to view other denominations as odd

Some lady at the airport was rambling about how the US is being anti-Christian and that for the past 50 years Americans have been "killing" Christianity.

As a Christian that lives in the US I just don't see this. It's kind of hard to say you are persecuted when you are the majority by 80%.

Any thoughts? If there IS a war going on, please provide evidence of such.

Thank You.

read their bibles, find verses, and when you read the verse it can be as simple as

"Jim went to the tree, climbed up it, and ate a tasty apple because he was hungry and then went to sleep later that night on a full stomach."

yet a christian would Explain, the already very simple thing as something more complex, and distort it, for no reason, like

"what its actually saying is that Jim was hungry for the knowledge of the dark, and he worked hard to finally gain this knowledge (dark knowledge, the devil's knowledge, sin, witchcraft) and because of this, his body was so full of sin from all his witchcraft that he slept which means he died."

Seriously, does this piss you other atheists off slightly when trying to reason with them, they start doing this?

It irritates me so bad.

This may be a silly question, but why do good if you believe in nothing? Serious question.

First I know I am generalizing with this question. Get over it.

This is in no way meant to disparage Catholics. However just something I have noticed on here and was wondering what others thought. It seems to me that the Catholics on here who really know there Bible, with a few exceptions, are former protestants. While the born into the Catholic church Catholics seem to have much less Biblical knowledge. Is it just me? Or does it appear this way to others as well?

Are the parents/grandparents not teaching anything at home?
I just read a question from a student who asked if Hitler was a Jew or a Nazi? That's making my eyes brim over... The quote If we do not know our own history, we are bound to repeat it reeks all over her naivity. God Save Us.

Don't know where to put this question!

praying to St. Jude can repair or restore a relationship? He is the Paton Saint of impossible causes.

My grandmother's generation was taught at a very young age to fear God. And she has ever since. She practices blind faith and would be appalled at doing it any other way.

I was not scared nearly as much as she was. Although the idea of hell was taught, and that kept me "believing" until around the age of 16, that was about all the fear I learned.

It is evident to me that the churches' (namely Catholic) different styles of instilling fear throughout the years has resulted in less participation. So, it looks like fear = belief.

This doesn't seem healthy to me at all. Shouldn't belief be based on actual belief, and not on "if I make myself believe, I won't be punished" ?

This thought is one of many reasons why I'm in a period of transition from the Catholic church to learning and taking the best from many religions.

Such as when people celebrate Christmas and Easter for that Jesus/god.

Do the other previous gods get envious and jealous because hes had priority for the past 2,000 years and they've all but been forgotten?
