I find the Bible absolutely fascinating :-) I've been studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses for approx 2 years, and the Bible Teach book, entitled: "What does the Bible really teach"? to be one of the easist to understand and well put together. Everything that is said there is backed up by several Bible scriptures to show a person what is the truth. It's a study aid book that ANYone in any faith can learn more from :-)

Parts are fascinating and parts are skull-crackingly boring. I've read it twice in 20 years just to 1) find out 2) say I did it 3) not to be left out at Bible discussions. My conclusion is it's 98% true and accurate (some overzealousness in the old testament is forgiveable), and the good parts include: John, Acts, Romans,Proverbs and the Epistles of Paul. Don't leave planet Earth without reading it, or You'll Never Know. Scary.

just like any historical piece-and life, for that matter-parts are interesting, parts(like the begats)can be boring. sometimes parts that seemed boring can take on new significance depending on your life situation. the Bible does NOT,however, contradict itself,as so many people believe. a careful study,as opposed to a casual reading, will prove that. it is also interesting that you can compare the ancient scrolls with the modern Bible and except for modernizing the language, find it unchanged.

personally I think the bible is very interesting, but it can be hard to understand so it may seem like it is boring. Bible studies can help you understand better and make it less boring.

From a literary standpoint its very very badly written. From an entertainment standpoint, its very violent in some places and extremely boring in others where the others constantly lecture the reader about how displaying anything remotely human is wrong. From a personal standpoint, its boring and completely idiotic.

I find it interesting how many idiots actually believe that load of crap.
