By the witness of the indwelling Holy Spirit:

"You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba,Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory."

Romans 8:9-17

"Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

By your fruits you demonstrate your faith. The way that you live your life is the indicator on proving your faith. Don't be confused and begin to think that it is actions that get you saved...it is faith in Jesus that gets you saved, but it is how you live your life that proves your saved.

See the scriptures below.

By following the plan of salvation. Beyond that, by faith.

Technically and Biblically, you're not yet!!

However if you've repented and accepted Christ, then the Holy Spirit is your 'deposit' or 'seal' that you will be saved on the day of judgement.

How do you know if you're going to Heaven? Because we all are. An all-loving God would never condemn anyone. Unless of course, God's really this horrible, mean tyrant, but I don't believe that.

The Bible says:
in Ro10:9
"if you confess with your mouth
that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart
that God has raised him from the dead,
you will be saved."

You are saved because Contrary to popular belief God is smart enough to have a plan for the salvation of each and every one of us that is going to work 100 percent of the time.

Any other idea is a simple lack of faith.

There is no such thing/place as heaven.
These cuddly wishful-thinking stories are for the weak-minded.
It is time to grow up and smell reality, setting aside childish things.
