I'm Christian and have been all my life, but I enjoy learning about world religions and I incorporate some of the universal values from each religion into my own faith.

I think that it's about tolerance and understanding that others may not believe as you do but that it is incredibly inappropriate to denouce others beliefs just because you may not agree.

You bet. Each faith or belief required something to cling to - an idea, a belief, a God, a 'something.'

When I came across Buddhism, I couldn't help but fall in love since most of my thoughts/experiences were seemingly already written down/discovered.

It's not enough to learn about Christianity, I doubt many Christians could claim they knew anything about Christianity before they heard about it and attented church

Yes. I spent quite a bit of time speaking to a Hindu priest, and I read up a bit on Islam and Protestant religions before being confirmed as a Catholic.

What I found interesting was how similar they all were in terms of the guidance on how to live your life. The details are different, how you worship and so on, but they all abhor murder and dishonesty and so on.

More than you can imagine. It's important to do research and understand any decision you make. I would now describe myself as an cynical agnostic heathen with strong paganistic (redundant?) buddhist tendencies. All religions led to one. Look for the truth within. Blessed be!!!

Nope, but I have checked a few out since. I try to study them when I have time. The last time I studied one because I was curious was the 7th day adventis. I didn't do it because I was displeased with my religion. I did it out of curiosity.

Not exactly.

I explored several before realizing that none were true.

Christianity is the only way to go in my book...but there are different denominations within the Christian faith that believe almost the same thing.
