Also a baby conceived before marriage is wrong? Then don't you think that Jesus is a sin cause Mary cause she did not have a relation with Joseph. Do you think since Jesus in the son of God, Mary and God had a relation. If you don't think so then tell me why Jesus is called the son of God.

By my reckoning, depending on which probabilities you use, and how pissed off the "correct god" would be if you worshipped the wrong god, the dominate strategies become "Don't Believe, just to be safe" rather than "Believe, just to be safe".

chugchug,all.

Has anyone here ever eaten real manna?
If so.....what does it taste like.......could you describe it for me?

Or was this just a food that was provided from heaven by God to the Hebrew people in the wilderness....and now it's gone for good?

Thanks,

Primo

All you may know of heaven or hell is within your own self.

If we are willing to suppress our self-centered nature so that our higher spiritual nature can gain control, it will bring about a resurrection and ascension of the transformed self, which can create heaven on earth.

scroll down to criticisms...

I see chosen by grace get's a mention:
Criticisms made by member "Chosen by Grace" (who can usually be identified by his use of the USS Defiant as his avatar)[7] are that the moderators discriminate against him for being a Calvinistic Christian.
(not that he's a psycho)

they took as captives? Please explain how you can say that it's marriage and that they were caring for the women who had just witnessed the killings of the men in their family? For those who do use this excuse, have you ever considered how you would feel if you were unfortunate enough to be one of those women? Do you honestly believe they really wanted to be with killers, the murderers of their husbands, brothers, fathers? I just don't get this at all.

Thanks in advance for the answers. Have a great day.

If you deny it, than look at the religion statistics of all the global countries. It's a fact that around 75%(3/4) of people will carry on the religious beliefs of their parents to some extent or demonation. Hinduism in India, Buddhism in Thailand, Shintoism in Japan, one of the many tribal religions still in existance in many parts of Africa.

Child indoctrination is highly psychological. Child process information differently than adults, when a child is met with a constant influx of religious beliefs when they are young, they rarely develop the need, or often even the psychological capacity to question these beliefs. Many get to the point where they see other beliefs as taboo, which can be seen in our culture.

What twisted God would judge people based on their religious beliefs keeping this in mind. What, does God love some people more than others makign sure they are born in the right area to choose the right religion? Open up your eyes people.

I'm just being honest. I believe you just stay the course of what you do as long as nobody gets hurt and death isn't a sentence in the end.

I have been looking for a great bible study site and have yet to find what I'm looking for. Maybe one that gives Hebrew/Greek wording in the bible text into English meaning to fully understand the scripture. Thanks for the input!

do they neccessarily also believe that it is impossible to be an intellectually honest and emotionally fulfilled non-believer?

It seems that everytime one believes the former, they also believe the latter.

I have recently been looking on internet about islamic stories and found interesting stuff like this one:

One Day a Jewish person came to Imam Ali (AS), thinking that since Imam Ali thinks he is too smart, I'll ask him such a tough question that he won't be able to answer it and I'll have the chance to embarrass him in front of all the Arabs.

He asked "Imam Ali, tell me a number, that if we divide it by any number from 1-10 the answer will always come in the form of a whole number and not as a fraction."

Imam Ali (AS) looked back at him and said, "Take the number of days in a year and multiply it with the number of days in a week and you will have your answer."

What do you say when someone asks you why you are atheist? I'm getting this question a lot lately, and there are so many reasons, I trip on my words.

What would YOU say? Why are you atheist?

Regarding the fulfillment of the Parable of the wheat and tares:
“Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.’” – Matthew 13:30

Tares and wheat are in the church. That is, both a “tare” and a “wheat” call themselves “Christians”.

The “tares” are now starting to be “gathered together” in the churches that are coming together for the sake of unity at the expense of truth…

The “wheat” are now being “gathered together” as denominational barriers crumble because of truth, as we are unified by essential Gospel truths…

The gathering of “tares” is more physical and visible – as physical churches literally join in their liberal, heretical, and even blasphemous views – even in the spirit of “ecumenism”.

The gathering of the “wheat” is spiritual and not as visible to the world – but brothers and sisters in different denominations are more than ever extending the “right hand of fellowship” to one another, and often feel closer to each other in Christ then even of others within their own denomination.

and live in the Southern U.S.
I am constantly beseighed by other "Christians" , when speaking about religious faith, and beliefs...admonishing me for my Catholic beliefs, they seem shocked when I explain that Catholics ARE CHRISTIAN ...they are consistanlty asking if I have been "saved"...have I "Found Jesus"...
Why is it that NON-CATHOLICS do not believe, or have a hard time believing that Catholics are in-fact Christians??

The prophet Roddenberry (PBUH) gave us the roots of faith and knowledge, but how many other testaments do you feel are True and inspired? Do you think any of the additions are blasphemy, and if so, who do you think should get the phaser-end of a galactic Jihad about it?
