Haven't they noticed it's not just one thing any more? It's thousands of recent events! So that "one thing-one person" excuse is no longer valid. Calling for the death of a teacher who was only helping Muslim children is just the LATEST thing, not the only thing.

Please tell me, especially Muslims, why are so many Muslims really ready to be violent for Allah, Muhammad and Islam?

I think this is a very serious question. I realize there is violence everywhere, done by all different people of different faiths, but Muslims are the ones openly doing it for Allah, on a regular basis.

Thanks and have a great day.

This is my Blog. Please don't just skip over it. Read the whole thing. By the way, this is in the R&S section because it has to do with Islam, Christianity, Judaism and other religions.

what a great opportunity to convert us. do you think being nice to us instead of repeatedly damning us to lake fire might work better? how many converts have you made by attacking the guy you trying to convert?

Why do so many people in the US feel that they have to make their religious beliefs public?
In Europe very few people will talk about their beliefs and will keep them to themselves.Nobody really cares if you're religious or not and we are generally happy for people to believe what they want to believe.
Yet whenever I see something on tv from America (talk shows etc) it seems that god has to be mentioned every 5 minutes(ok I know that's an exageration but you get my drift)
Why is it that America seems to be the most fundamentalist christian country in the world?

ok, on the sixth day, god created humans. fine and dandy, but humans and the dinosaurs didnt live in the same time period, because dinosaurs were around before humans came along. but, the bible says god created it all in seven days! and also, the earth was around 4.5 billion years before humans came! so how did god create it all in seven days?

This verse always make me think of evolutionists.

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."

Where I could send the majority of people on here who rant and rave to another cosmology or conversely...send myself and anyone else who wants to go with?

Ariana's Song
Written By Semper Fi Reborn

She was so precious.
So full of light, so full of joy.
Radiant little angel,
O' Ariana.
She had a lovely smile,
With small pearls of baby teeth.
She was walking,
And forming short sentences,
Of gleeful innocence.
There should have been a fence,
around the pool.
How old would she be now?
I'm so sad,
For her family that misses her.
They said,
There should've been a fence around the pool.
I still hear Ariana's Song.
It sounds like her laughter did.
I know she's with God.

I'm wanting to highlight my BOM in the areas where spiritual truths are being taught, so I can more easily find the spiritual bits, and skip over the historical bits.

I know it's asking a lot for a list of the "highlights" but just a few to start with will help.

Please include links for ease of reference.

Thank you.

Are we not a human tribe practicing hypocrisy in our relationship with Him – cheating Him on our devotion, praising and glorifying Him for pleasing Him and trying to bribe Him with offers for selfish ends and returns. And the last laugh on all these is from the God Himself.

Always serious makes a person more dull so some jokes.
Its my turn
A person was praying to God and all of a sudden God came and asked Son what do you want
He said I want a road from India to US of A over the Indian and Pacific Ocean.
God said are you crazy do you know what steel and cement and other stuff it takes, I'll give you another chance ask any other thing.
So he said I would like to know what my wife thinks when she is silent
God asked him do you want 4lane road or 8 lane road.

Sorry ladies its just a joke (I Know its a old and repeated joke)

i am not religeous i have a belief system though.. but thats another point

i live my life according to my own morals, i stand up for what i belive in, i protest on many fronts including gay rights despite not being gay myself, i am pacifistic as far as possible and i try to forgive people who offend me, i accept everyone as equal regardless of race, religeon, sexuality, gender etc

in short im a good person (or at least i try to be)

but.. heres the kicker i dont belive in god
i am completley unrepentant for this
and i dont regret any past sins for its from them that i learn and grow as a person

given some of the people i defend and some of my views are well shall we say less that your bog standart christian

does this mean if there is a god he dislikes me?

if so... i mean... just what the hell is his problem

I personally am atheist, and believe in evolution. How do you disprove:

skeletons of early humans are changing through time and fossil records?

and why do so many people believe a book that some one said was made by God? you cannot prove that the bible is the word of god, and that god just "made" the universe out of nothing. Also, the bible says that the Earth is 6,000 years old. that is bullshit because we have carbon dating that can prove we are almost 6 BILLION years old, and light from 10 BILLION light-year-away galaxies proves that the light from them has been in space longer than the earth has been here!!! please, prove to me that there is a "creator" that spontaneously "crated" us out of nothing.

For the sake of this excercise... let's assume to be true, that an all knowing supreme being created all the heavens and the earth.

Our perception of time is relative to our physics. So, let's also assume that the supreme being that created all, is not bound to our concept of time. Fair?

This supreme being would be able to see my future, as well as it could see my past; not being bound to my time.

How can I be granted the gift of freewill; the ability to change my path along time, if there is a supreme being that can see my future - and ultimately the choices I was going to make?

We go on the assumption that you chose to follow your path NOT as a sign of rebellion against the mainstrem religions but rather our paths chose us. There was SOMETHING about our path that spoke to our very spirit and told us that THIS is the way for us to live in an eternal loving relationship with our Deity. How does our path address us, spiritually? What got awakened within you that let you KNOW that you ARE on the right and proper path for you?

for instance bhuddism christianity and islam all considered religeons but neo-paganism (among others) is often laughed at and often quoted as "not being a real religion" surely its not just an age issue because germanic polytheism and idol worship take the prise in the that department

Which would your parents take more easily - telling them that you're gay, or telling them that you're an atheist? (If you've actually done both, what were your experiences?)

My mother would have preferred that I said "I'm gay" to "I'm an atheist".
