It was over the closed-door meeting, in Heaven, discussing the Creation of this World which brought Lucifer's jealousy (of God's Son) to a head. You see, the closed-door meeting was only for members of the Godhead because what was *also* discussed at that meeting was the problem of Lucifer and plans for our Salvation.

There is little in the bible concerning the answer to your question as to when the devil revolted against God.

I believe it occur ed within the time frame between the creation of the world and the creation of man upon the world.

Yet, the bible does reveal when the devil was cast from heaven. It happened soon after Jesus was resurrected and ascended unto his Father in heaven. Jesus defeated the hold the devil had on mankind, death, and by doing so brought about satan's expulsion from heaven. He could no longer appear before God and accuse mankind.

LOL, there's no way we can know the exact year. However, Ezekiel 28:16 gives us a clue of when Satan fell from grace:

16 "By the abundance of your trading
You became filled with violence within,
And you sinned;
Therefore I cast you as a profane thing
Out of the mountain of God;
And I destroyed you, O covering cherub,
From the midst of the fiery stones."

Ezekiel 28:14 suggests the "fiery stones" referred to by God were molten, probably created at the time God was first forming the earth. Since verse 16 tells us these stones were still "fiery" when Satan was cast from Heaven, we can conclude this happened at the beginning of the third day (Genesis 1:9-10).

Since Seth was born when Adam was 130 years old and Cain was probably over the age of ten when he killed Abel that gives a 120 year span. Most likely Adam and Eve were banished from the garden shortly before the conception of Cain, Satan probably tempted Eve successfully shortly after being banished from Heaven, so Satan probably fell around the 100th year.
