I think you are quite right. You have every right to doubt the sincerity of a Christian's faith when he attacks you like an enemy.
In real life I don't see much of that go on, but in this virtual world, we see all sorts of people doing all sorts of things in the name of Christianity.
Anyone who behaves the way you describe really hasn't understood the basic tenets of Christianity very well.

Are you wanting to be converted?

If not, then I'm not trying to convert you. And I thought that I am nice, lol.

I was once an atheist until a Christian told me how not praying to God everyday was leaving me empty, and would only lead to an eternity of burning.

He helped see the love that God shows all His children by showing my the Bible, and how God repeatedly shows us compassion, whether it be by telling Abraham to kill his son, or by flooding the world, or by killing all the first born sons in Egypt.

Oh wait, that's how I became an atheist, it's still early here, I was confused.

most people who are converted are done so at a young, gulable age. as religiojn has been part of our society for thousands of years breed fear into the 'believers' who i believe, do not believe. they are just scared and selfish.

Okay, I've looked.
Probably, is that what you want?
I don't attack people. I don't try to convert either. I just come to learn other people's views, state mine, and let other people decide their own beliefs.

Good question.

Would an apology be acceptable? On behalf of all those aggressive preachers. It never has worked, and never will.

Hey now! Same goes for us. Calling someone a delusional idiot isn't going to persuade them very well. But I do agree with you.

I don't think it will change anything. A lie told 'nicely' is still a lie.
