Yes, there is most definitely an afterlife! I have met relatives who have passed on and I also met Jesus in my dreams, so I just know.
Also when I was very young, I used to have OBEs. (out of body experiences) and used to walk around in my spirit state, fully aware that I was doing it.
To me, there is no doubt that we live on after we die.

Yes, I know there's an afterlife, and yes dead relatives and friends can visit you in dreams or in wakefulness. It would take way too long .. too many stories to tell. A good book..
by Raymond Moody.. "Reunion" - it's all about that. I had a visit from a friend once while i was at his grave. He came as a hawk that hovered overhead. I actually heard his voice.

Sometimes if I'm thinking of them alot I dream about them. I don't really think that they can visit us but if God desires He can make you think about them.If your relatives that passed away were Christians and since you mentioned you were a believer (if that's how you meant believer) you can see them in heaven. According to how much I know (which is an o.k. amount of info.) I don't believe they can visit us trough spirit but God can make us think of them or dream about them. Though they have a body that is perfect, they are not as powerful as God. (of course) Since God is all present he is every where in spirit but Christians are not God they aren't all present. So i believe the answer to your question is yes there is an afterlife in Heaven or hell but no they can't visit us

I know they visit us and yes I believe that there is a spirit world for us after we die. When I was in college i was visited by a great great grandfather. At first it was a little scary to have him in my room. That feeling quickly left and a great feeling of peace washed over me. There wasn't any prefound messange from the other side or anything...it was like he was there to make sure that I was okay and doing what I was supposed to be doing.

Eternal life is your life.
Worship in Spirit is the DIRECT experience of eternal life.
If that doen't sound familiar, it's from the Original Kingdom Gospel that Jesus was preaching. This resource explains that Original Gospel... it's a restoration of that "Worship in Spirit" and the "Living Water" and the real "Word of God" and all the rest of it.

i'm compelled to have self assurance based upon my dad's journey... he had a "supernatural" journey in the direction of the tip of his existence. He became an extremely grounded guy and not companies to a majority of those issues. i think of the spirits that are around me tend to be kinfolk. My mom and pop. they like to be certain me satisfied. Do properly.... i've got had desires approximately them. Yea, i've got self assurance them to be around. maximum of them stable. some not so stable. yet neither have an instantaneous impact on my fact. until I chosen to..... respects

WOW. Kinda' heavy. I certianly believe it the straight up fact of Heaven and Hell. I know that when someone dies that they will go to one or the other. I also believe that someone close can "connect" with you after they pass, like in dreams.

No, the Bible teaches against such things. You see, hell is not currently a real place. Also, we have neither a spirit nor a soul -- in the spiritual sense. We *are* a living soul -- we don't *have* one (Gen. 2:7; 1Cor. 15:45). The Bible formula for a living soul:
Dust of the Ground + Breath of Life = A Living Soul
We also don't *have* the spiritual concept of a "spirit." The word "rûach" translated in the Bible into the English word "spirit" (Eccl. 12:7) is referring to the Breath of Life given to us by God.
H7307 (רוּח) rûach (roo'-akh)
From H7306; wind; by resemblance breath, that is, a sensible (or even violent) exhalation;
H7306 (רוּח) rûach (roo'-akh)
A primitive root; properly to blow, that is, breathe;
Without the Breath, we are just plain dead -- back to the Dust of the Ground (Gen. 3:19; Psalms 104:29). The Bible formula for death:
A Living Soul - Breath of Life = Dust of the Ground
Jesus does promise us an after-life, though. For more Bible information on this topic, see the following study guides.
