in history a few days ago, it was all about "should women vote"? ect. but there was this one quote that said something like, god created man first so man should rule everything, and our teacher told us that apparently eve came from one of adams ribs. but have you ever thought that man created god so that they lord over everything??? and plus why does everyone think that "god" is a man hes NOT nor is he a woman. (not that i think hes real its just to clear that up).

i am a born again christian. and i go to a southern baptist church... but i have tons of catholic friends...i hear them make some comments about purgatory, but i don't know how to respond to it sincce i don't even know what it is!! please help me! i heard it is a place between heaven and hell that people go to and they have to be prayed out of it to be able to go to heaven...but do any of them go to hell? and i mean, we only go into heaven if we accept christ and that we can not be saved by works, then how do you believe people go to purgatory....someone explain this to me....i am utterly confused!!??

Isnt he only preaching the parts of the Bible that are nice to hear. It seems he isnt giving the whole truth.

I believe I have, before I was born that was the first thing I saw. Being in the clouds and it was extremely bright and G-d pointing his finger down at me. I couldn't see his face because it was obscured by the light. But I'm almost certain it happened before I was born.

Would you really want to exist in one form or another for 10000000000000000000 billion, repeating forever,.....billion years?

Think about it. After 1000 billion billion years, forever hasn't even begun! That sounds like a nightmare/hell to me. Eventually I think you would have your fill of existence and would beg for the "big sleep".

Life is great because it doesn't last forever. Death keeps life in balance. Death is the price you pay for existence.

If the first follower of Jesus, who claimed to have the Gnos,," direct and personal knowledge of the Creator, did not have the right message. Who then gave the second set of followers the right to cut from society the Gnostics, and don't tell me it was a loving god, because they went on to bring death and suffering to millions of people!!!

I guess you guys would rather worship 'humans' than the creator of the universe. It so hard for you to believe in God which you do not understand...but if a scientist told you that love is the molecule mixed with that molecular organism mixed with ac X 98773939 to the tenth power you would wipe the sweat off you foreheads with relief...right.

We have "stupid" people here, people screaming at others for being "stupid", and then people talking about the people who are screaming at the "stupid" people...

My question is - should we even be mad at people that we perceive to be "stupid"?

I think everyone's beliefs, decisions and judgments are based on what they know and what they've experienced. Maybe we should be more constructive, or informative rather than calling people names...? What do you think?

1) They ignore the true proclaimig of the "last days" ; "time of the end"? Matthew 24:14;2 Tim.:3-1-5; Dan. 12:1-4)

2) They love this sick and corrupt system "world"?(1 John 2:15-17)

3) They do not believe the flood happened earthwide ?(2 Peter 3:5-7;Matthew 24:36-39)

4) They do not believe in Christs promised special "presence" ("parousia")prior to his bringing on Armageddon(Matthew 24:3, 7,8,14; Rev. 12:7-10,12)?

5) OR-- All the above & short summation as why it all comes together?
