Jesus tells Peter to feed the Lambs and the Sheep.Today many are looking for a church that will feed them.Does it appear that to many of us are wanting to be feed, when we should be feeding?

John 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
John 21:16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
John 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Exo 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Or don't believe it is correct? And then actually claim I'm not being good when I ask about things such as this regardling witches and their wickedness? Is it because 'christians' think they "have need of nothing" like the 'witches' and yet are "wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked", or are they 'witches' themselves?
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

any question, because it never makes sense no matter which side you are on, and it isn't only government that should practice democratic freedom. Here's the question that was deleted -

I have asked dozens of times to have my questions and answers reinstated. Not one time has this ever happened.

I don't think anyone is home at yahoo.

One jerk got my answer deleted when all I said was God is unconditionally loving. Yahoo did not even reinstate that one.

Does the sectarian fighting and inability of countries with theocracies and religious clerical law, like Iran to treat all with equality and human rights give you ANY pause?

Have you contemplated in your wish for America to have Christian laws:

1. WHICH Christian sect will be the one calling the shots and dictating our laws and public policies? Southern Baptists, Conservative evangelicals, Liberal evangelicals, Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Mormons etc?

2. How you will deal with non-Christian American citizens? Will they also have to live according to religious governed laws if it is not part of THEIR religious belief? Will they be treated equally?

3. When you use your bible to rewrite our laws, Constitution etc. what approach will you use? A literal one? Which biblical laws will you impose on the general public? Which will be exempt?

4. Would all judges HAVE be to part of the chosen Christian faith to practice?

How exactly do you see your vision for the US working?

My girlfriend's roommate attends an evangelical Christian church. We all attend a premier American university in the midwest. This particular young woman is brilliant, stunningly beautiful, athletic, humble, the whole 9 yards.

My girlfriend attended the church with her recently, where someone spoke about a planned mission trip to a Buddhist country. The plan was to go and "give these people hope." So the non-saved are hopeless. This drives an enormous wedge between this church and virtually anybody else who thinks for themselves. So what does she do? Does she challenge the notion at church that "other believers" are hopeless? Absolutely not. Does she preach to us about needing a relationship with God? Absolutely not. She remains neutral. She seems to know that preaching would force us to walk away, and maybe that disagreeing at church would ostracize her there as well.

Luke 18:15-17 (New King James Version)

15 Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
16 But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
17 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

Why was it picked by the Church to celebrate Christ's birthday on? As others have said, the rituals we Christians partake in on Christmas such as Christmas trees, yule logs, gift giving etc. came from pagan origins. Why was that same day picked to celebrate Christ's birth? Shouldn't they at least have picked another day?

Name 5 things that atheists can do that Christians can't. Your honesty will reveal your true nature (and mindset). Thank you!

P.S. I can think of one...
atheists can answer a question about evolution honestly and truthfully

Hello Friends! I pray that you are all doing well today.
I hate to tell you this, but no one gives God all that He deserves.
We do not give God even half of what He deserves and yet,
He gives us so much more than what we deserve.
It started with His Son and He has been heaping blessings on us ever since.
All God wants is our heart,
and we give it to Him,
and so many times take it back,
and place it somewhere else.
But, still God continues to give and give.
I have experienced this first hand.
Let's take a moment to pray and thank Him this morning
for giving us more than we deserve.
He deserves that, doesn't He?
You are taking the time to ask and answer questions,
so you must have the time to thank our Creator.

I hope you have been blessed this morning. Not by me, but by God. I love you all, Cat
